Holy diner heaven Batman, this place has the food you need! Yes it is a truck stop diner located inside a gas station convenience store with views of the parking lot.... but once you snobs get over that this is the best dang bang for your buck in town. Cute little dining room with seating for probably 100 or so between tables and bar seating. They have a great selection of local bakery goods including homemade pies, large muffins, monstrously huge cookies and whoopie pies, and large donuts. We were seated quickly, our server was super friendly and always checking in on us, and the food was large portions and delicious. Large menu, nothing super fancy, but serving up delicious made-to-order food to get you through the day. The cruller donuts (2) French toast could feed 2 people and is one of the best breakfasts I have had. Spouse had an omelette which was probably 6 eggs and could have fed 2 people also. Lots of friendly locals, light background of country music on the radio, and we were in and out in one hour. We will DEFINITELY be back, don't miss it.

Food was great. I had a simple breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon with decaf coffee for about $10. Service was great as well.

Over heard a couple ladies talking about meeting up here for breakfast. I’m so glad we followed their suggestions. Breakfast was very good and the maple glazed donut was excellent!!!

Oh my, just wonderful!! Stopped here for dinner, but had breakfast because if a place serves breakfast all day it’s probably just that good! I randomly had the oatmeal (complete with milk, brown sugar, and raisins) and a waffle with real maple syrup. Both delicious! Hubs had the lumberjack and it was all perfect. Lemonade is great. But even better than all that was the service - our server was working alone and was hopping. And she had the friendliest demeanor and personality!!

Very friendly your neighborhood diner! We went here for light breakfast before catching the bus to Boston, and it was the right choice! Will say, limited vegetarian options for breakfast, unless you ask for it!

Recommend For: Breakfast and Brunch, 24/7 Food, Comfort Food, Big Portion

Egg Benedict: Very solid egg Benedict. Homeside sauce was very delicious and nicely done porched egg. If you like Ham, plenty of ham for you! Big portion for small people.

Western Scrambler: I prefer vegetarian dishes, so I switched out ham with tomatoes, and it was perfect. Comfy big scramble for good breakfast.

This restaurant is hidden inside the convenient store. If you are here for the first time, come inside the convenient store and look for the sign The Fort near restroom!

Has all the diner atmosphere! The waitstaff is awesome, and the food is great. Located inside a truck stop convenience store, it ticks all the boxes of the busy traveler while also serving the locals who like to stay awhile. They serve breakfast all day and the dessert case is drool-worthy. We love this place after a night out, or when we just want to cozy up in a booth with breakfast and coffee at Noon. Wheelchair accessible and plentiful parking.

Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Waitress was quick, cheerful and helpful. Loved the log cabin style interior of the place. They also have delicious pies. I WILL be coming back if I ever get the chance.

Passing through town and found this hole in the wall diner. It was literally a hole in the wall of the convenience store/gas station. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, reasonably priced and had a very hallmark-y, small town atmosphere.

Clean, friendly diner. As you can tell from the picture, the biscuits & gravy has a HUGE biscuit with BIG chunks of sausage all over it. Had good flavor, added home fries after & the home fries were just out of the fryer hot. No complaints here.

Quaint little restaurant inside of a truck stop. TONS of truck parking. I was the only one close to the building and another couple trucks in the back. Food was absolutely great! Got a piece of pie to go and it was delicious also. Waitress was very kind and polite.

Excellent breakfast and portions are huge. Our server was very patient and professional even though the restaurant was busy. I noticed the shelves where the bus buckets were stored were very dirty, so only 3 stars for the atmosphere.

Haven't been in a while and only got a breakfast sandwhich and home fries with gravy but all was delicious and well made. Sausage gravy was delicious over the home fries. Looots on menu and the food is great so certainly worth stopping or checking out if haven't. Great bakery items as well. Cakes n pies n treats like cookies n whoopies as well !

Great local diner hidden inside of a convenience store (which is also good). Homemade corned beef brisket and eggs very tasty. Quick friendly service and a nice Sunday crowd. Easy walk or drive from the Hilton Garden Inn.

So if you are rating this restaurant based upon a 5star restaurant you are missing the point. This is a Truck Stop and an EXCELLENT Truck Stop. The chicken strips are NOT frozen, they are huge and fresh. The portions are Truck Stop large. The Ham and cheese sandwich was very good and the fried pickles were abundantly overflowing and very tasty.

Great place for breakfast. The portions are plentiful and delicious. The French toast crueller was a treat. The service was friendly. The atmosphere was quaint in the back of a gas station. I would definitely go again.
