Really love this co-op. People are super friendly, the place is clean, and the food is good. There is a wide range of items to pick from, so there is a little of something for everyone here.

If you are swinging by, driving by, walking by, take a moment to check them out! Much better selection than a major chain.

I added 15 photos so you can get a good idea of what the entire store looks like and what is available.

Great medium sized food co-op. The staff here were extremely friendly and helpful. Great organic options. Not a huge store, but has most of what any hippie would want.

The previous photos made it seem like this co-op does not have a lot of fresh food but actually it does!!! A great variety of options and the environment is great!! A bit more pricey than the co-op at WRJ but def worth it!

America needs one of these in every community.

Expensive, but not overpriced.

The chillest staff.

No predatory junk food selling or cartoon candy cereal at kid eye level.

Respect.

I love this co-op. Great local produce, wonderful bulk items, nice spice assortment and delicious prepared food. Because the nature of organic foods, the prices are higher than most supermarkets. I highly recommend shopping here for quality products. Staff are amazing! Be kind to them!

My husband and I love this place and come here - our favorite co-op anywhere! The staff are fantastic - so helpful and nice. The selection is smaller than other local co-ops, but the items are well chosen. The selection of bulk foods and spices is excellent, including oils, nut butters, maple syrup, honey, plus soaps as well. They have the best natural sugar alternatives, and an awesome chocolate section. I love the gift section as well and can always find something special. They honor memberships at other local co-ops, have a cozy little eat-in area, great bulletin board, and the magazine exchange is cool. Prices are fair, with great sales!

I love this coop. It has the feel of the old coops. Produce and bulk items are super fresh and they have a great supplement and home/health section. Stuff is mostly organic or pretty clean. Yummy local cheese varieties. It is not closest to me but I go the extra miles for their selection and freshness. Good tea - loose and bagged - selection.

The best Co-op in the Upper Valley. Keep in mind that it is small so stock is limited but the prices are usually better than any of the other co-ops in the area. They have an excellent health care section and are very helpful. If they don't have it, they will likely be able to order it for you. Highly recommend! ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

Truly a community store in all respects. Supports local farms and artisans, stocks high quality products in all areas. Offers spaces to gather, in the cafe, library or community rooms. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. The cafe provides daily fare to suit a variety of dietary preferences.

UVFC is my all time favorite co-op. With their small space, they efficiently pack in all the essentials. Several products I use regularly can only be found here - not at other co-ops in Vermont or conventional groceries. The hot food bar is perfect for a quick hearty homemade soup. Staff is always friendly.

Stellar. I have worked in the natural food industry for 10 years, both in Virginia & Vermont. I managed the former, State Street Market Natural Foods Store In Montpelier. Natural Foods stores have been destinations when traveling. This Co-op remains true to the model . Well stocked, clean, & affordable void of the unnecessary glitz and glamour. The glitz runs down hill to the price tag.The HBA and supplement section, the bread and butter of the industry, are brilliant and alluring. The staff are all knowledgeable and eager to please. My first Co-op was on State Street in Santa Barbara 1977. Upper Valley has the same down to earth approach.

I am thrilled to have moved close enough to take advantage of this garden of delight.

Thanks staff for doing what you do so well.

A Co-op in the true sense of the word. Large selection of quality and local sources foods and grocery items as well as seasonal items such as wool sweaters, mittens, hats, scarves, socks, gifts, holiday cards, candles, largest selection of high quality supplements, herbs, homeopathics, body care products, many items in bulk. Also hot soups, casseroles and dishes served up fresh daily as well as salads, sandwiches, cookies, scones, muffins, and hot beverages and a wonderful produce selection.
