Need a place to grab a money order quick? this is it. They charge .80 for every $500, but quick and easy and the lady at Customer Service was very helpful through the whole process. In and out under 3 minutes. Great Service.

This is the best neighborhood food Lion in the city. They almost always have everything I'm looking for. Don't have to make three trips to three different stores. The manager Eric is always on top of the ordering and always pay attention to everything going on. Heck of a nice guy to see if you get a chance to shop here and you see Eric definitely say hello. All the employees are friendly and ready to help you find whatever you need. It's a rarity even to find nowadays a neighborhood grocery store where all the employees are friendly and they all go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience shopping there. Best food Lion in Newport News and it's not even close

Better than average, always has a handicapped cart available. My local store. Much easier than Wally world.

The staff continue to be professional and courteous. The 1% food tax along with Food Lion's rewards program is a great incentive to shop there.

This is my favorite Food Loin store, it’s close and the staff are kind, I would like to recognize Stephen Hall he is a phenomenal worker, he is people related and he makes sure that all of customers are treated the same , Stephen make sure that we know where our items are stocked at as well as he would take the time to help customers find their items. Helping customers comes so natural it is not a bother as long as his customers have a wonderful experience. He is thoughtful and very caring impeccable service!!

This particular Food Lion is fantastic! First time there! Store is sooo clean and well stocked. It even has self check outs, which I love! Would visit it more but unfortunately I dont live in that part of town!!

Store was about to close and only the self check out line was open. Threw clerk was just monitoring the area but saw all the groceries I had and helped made check out! She was sweet and very very helpful!!! I so appreciated that!!

Great store, there is wide variety of items and food to choose from and the cashiers are always friendly and helpful. The fruit and vegetables there are always fresh and they have lots to choose from. They have everything ranging from American food to Mexican food. It is a great supermarket.

Cashier was extremely pleasant, always super clean/neat and they carry my favorite cakes because they use whipped topping instead of the dreaded traditional buttercream. They ALSO always have the Panera Autumn Squash soup. As a person growing a person, knowing they have my cravings is *chefs kiss* on top of the great regular grocery selection.
