New Mart

Very good fresh produce at fair prices, also delicious prepared foods like kimbap to grab and go. I recently bought kimbap and fried squid, both were excellent. It's also clean but rather small. They have a fresh fish counter and prepare it as you request. They have a little bakery outside that sells Korean snacks and a nice selection of bakery items including mochi inside.

My next visit to New Mart I will be buying camorones for a BBQ.

Fruits and vegetables are very fresh and of high quality. Groceries are well organized and maintained. Meats and fishes are also very fresh.

There is fresh hot soondae here with a tiny spicy kick. I think it tastes perfectly fine without the additional seasoned salt they give but that's just my preference. They also have an assortment of prepared food such as kimbap, ddukbokki, an assortment of banchan, and various kimchi (cabbage, cucumber, chives, and scallion). Small Korean market

Produce and banchan here are top notch, compared to H Mart. The meat cuts are good with less fat and freshness. Everything seems fresh, maybe because the place is small and they have a high rate of rotation, and their section chiefs are dedicated towards quality. Yes, they are a little pricier, but I think it's worth it.

Their downside is lack of variety on things like sauce, ramyun, and snacks, but variety is not their mo bcause of their small size. If filling up a costco sized cart for your monthly stock is what you want this place is not for you. However, even if I lived closer to H Mart I would come here for their banchan and meat.

Edit: after a couple of years visiting this place, I must say that the lack of variety is not too noticable; they do have just the right amount of stuff and unless you want something really unique, which you probably won't find easily elsewhere anyways, you've got what you need here.

It's a small Korean grocery but you will find anything you need. The price is compatible and the workers are very friendly.
