The Fresh Market

Store is super clean and neat everywhere! Produce is on point!! I get they have a job to make it all look good and they do their job damn well! Store employees were friendly on arrival and extremely helpful in making sure I found what I needed.
Products are quality so you pay a bit more, if you’re okay with that this is your place.

I get sushi here at least once a week. Is always fresh and tasty. Employees are always friendly and I get checked out in a timely manner.

The associates at this market are always very helpful and polite. The assistant Manger, Brandon is amazingly helpful . We appreciate the extra mile he always goes to help and provide info.

Nikki and colleagues in the floral department were incredibly helpful! She went out of her way to assist me with a lovely floral arrangement. I will certainly be back. Thank you!

Nice grocery store that carries higher end brands, some hard to find items, even some interesting things to try. I haven't tried their meat or deli section yet it looks popular. I've had their pre-prepared salads, and their granola, both good. I stop in at least once a week to pick up something I need that I can't find elsewhere nearby.

The Fresh Market is by far my favorite local grocery store! They always have fresh, beautiful, and delicious produce to chose from.
I have been a customer for years and have to say that every time I have been at a Fresh Market the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Seriously the best grocery store, the people, the products, the cleanliness. We love their chicken salad that comes with the croissants!! It has the feel Of a small town upscale local market. Also use their app. For deals on wine & dinners.

Next best place in town for baked goods. Large selection of cakes, pies, breads, etc. Be sure to try the cranberry orange pound cake. Great store for ordering holiday meals too. Cranberry relish is a favorite.

Wanted to share how nice the check out people are at the Lake Forest Fresh Market! Today I went in to get a few groceries, but mainly to get some treats for a gift basket. Grabbed a few items for dinner and completely forgot the main reason I had gone there. In the middle of check out I remember that I needed to get a gift basket with some treats. Told the women I’m so sorry I forgot a bunch of things, she didn’t even seem bothered, ran back to grab 8-10 items and a hanging basket and happily bagged the rest of my items. She Asked me if I would kindly complete the survey at the bottom of receipt and share my experience- done and wanted to also write this review!

I really, really love this place. Here's a list of my reasons why:

1. They play classical music throughout the store
2. They have an excellent, curated selection of very high quality (often organic) food, produce and alcohol.
3. They always have a little seasonal or holiday theme going
4. It smells great when you walk in
5. The people that work there are impossibly friendly and great at their jobs
6. The carts are the perfect size
7. It's easy to get in and out quickly. Easy parking. Helpful staff. Quick checkout.
8. Samples when you walk in! Coffee, tea, snacks, apple cider in the winter.
9. This is the way things should be!
10. And so much more...

Fresh Market prepared a last minute crown pork roast for Xmas day dinner. I seasoned it with an apple maple glaze they carried by
Stonewall Kitchen. Absolutely delicious and
they were gracious about pulling this together last minute. Plus the price was more reasonable that what i'd been paying for from a
butcher I'd previously frequented.

Great store for specialty items, organic foods, yummy bakery, prepared foods, wonderful meat and seafood areas.... the list goes on. If you are in Lake Forest on the east side of town... take the time to stop in and check it out. One other thing... they have a great staff!!!

I love this place for all the specialty items I can never find at a typical grocery. Between the Lemoncoco drink which is really hard to find, to Pho broth, canned octopus from Spain and excellent tomatoes, I can also get sushi, bakery items and everything else in between. Recently I was making a Spanish dish called Fiduea and they had fish broth from Barcelona. I couldn't believe that I was finding that in the shelf.

They were awesome to let me run in right before closing to grab a Pumpkin pie. I came out of my way just for a pie because I read that it was one of the best. It did live up to it's reputation.

Fresh Market is a beautiful store and shopping there is both fun and relaxing. And they carry 'Homemade' brand ice-cream from United Farmers in Ohio!

So many hard to find items!

You get what you pay for. Special dinner choice every day, can’t beat the value

They have the best pecan brownies I've ever had. The produce is cheap and the deli has a great selection.
