This art supply store provides a good selection of products for its size. Here, you can find the things you can't get at hobby or craft stores. But the biggest benefit of this store is the staff. They are knowledgeable on a variety of disciplines, from painting and print making to modeling and framing. It was my first time shopping in this store today and I was excited with what the store has in stock.
The store is very clean, organized and well stocked. The people who work there are friendly and willing to help customers.
I signed up for their customer Savings Card and received the store discount easily. I will be returning to this store frequently.

I like that this shop is run for artists by artists. They have just about everything I’ve come here for. Entry-level artists, professional artists, and families with budding artists will find all the supplies they need for their projects. And if you have questions, all the friendly and welcoming folks working here can help answer answer the or will take the time to help you figure things out.

A great place for those if us who still appreciate a good art store to buy their supplies. Used their framing service too and was very happy with the outcome. Staff are VERY pleasant and helpful in finding those weird items you might need for art classes. Discount program is also an added perk

I visited today brought watercolor book mixing bible and a brush. The staff was amazing in helping out and very organized. Many shades in watercolor pigments.

Mostly fine art supplies and some gift items. They have things that the big box stores don't. For example:

Some of the gift items include interesting pencil cases, travel art supplies, and socks.

They also do custom framing.

They have all the best stuff and way more than the Richmond location. So many materials and methods of art making I never knew about until I shopped here.

I love this art store. Sad that I don't have any closer to home, but when there's an opportunity I pay a visit to this one. Every time a visit it, it's a creative inspiration to be surrounded by so many art materials. This is not a craft store, it's for art enthusiasts. Customer service is great, they're knowledgeable and patient.

As an artist, I just love coming to Plaza Artist, I love being met with wonderful staff who greet you when you walk in. You're surrounded by quality art products and supplies. It's hard not to stay in here for hours. The selection of products, supplies, tools, and furniture (art desks and stuff) always blows me away. Personally, I go FERAL in the sketchbook and paper sections. There are so many quality paper and sketchbooks. I might just come back with the excuse of needing more sketchbooks. The staff is very knowledgeable if you have any questions and friendly too! Don't be scared to say excuse me, you'll be treated with care :) My university recommended we get our art supplies from here and ever since graduating from university, I still make the 45 min drive from where I live to come here. I love this place

The staff is great here- very knowledgeable and nice. I went today for their marabu marbling demonstration. It was interesting to learn the process and I marbled two pumpkins. Prices are competitive and they've got a really good selection of art materials.

Had just what I was looking for. I'm glad there are still some good art supply stores around like Plaza.

I'm an idiot and spent five minutes wandering the aisles until I found the spray paint at the front of the store. The staff is friendly; though I didn't run into the old lady that other people seemingly have had trouble with

I love this store. I'm more of a hobbyist, while my spouse is a professional artist and it's great having a store that can easily cater to both of us. This comes down to their extremely wide selection of supplies at great prices. I can always find what I need here, and if I can't the staff have always been very helpful. I cannot recommend Plaza Arts enough!

It is very refreshing to go to a store and get great help with coloring your project. The staff was actually able to show me a better and easier way to paint with a great finish. And yes, this store had the exact matching color that I needed. Five stars.

plenty of knowledgeable staff and prices are excellent competition against online. You need to get a membership for the discounts (free) and you are all set. They have a great selection and there is always something new to spend your money on! They keep up to date on the latest mediums.

Extremely easy to get to. Beltway >> 66 west >> Nutley South (first exit once you are on 66). two traffic lights and you will see the shopping plaza.
There's a great gas station and a Safeway in the plaza so you can multitask :D

I was so happy to find a real art store in Northern VA. The minute you walk in the store, you can smell the canvases, oil paints, clays and other materials, unlike the other chain arts and craft stores that smell like toxic plastic products. They have a wonderful selection of products for painters, sculptors, printers, those who like to use pen and pencil, and more. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to create fine art, whether beginner or seasoned pro.

Great little art supply store. They have everything from entry level to professional supplies.

So. Many. Colors! I am no artist but the ideas that come from looking at the tools to be one awakens a sense of possibilities. In this store an entire wall of sketchbooks, a whole row of markers in rainbows, an array of pencils that goes far beyond the No. 2 that i filled in circles with on tests in school. Those all excite the imagination. An then there's the kits and canvas and frames and ... oh wow.

Also a great place for cards, interesting gifts, and unique wrapping papers.

Definitely worth popping in if you're in the shopping center.
