I had to visit the passport office and the lady was very kind and patient. They were able to see me at my appointment and I did not have to wait. I then went to drop off a package and the lady at the counter was also sweet and approachable. It was a quick interaction and they did a great job.

This review is solely for Marissa in Consumer Affairs she is a blessing there at that post office/distribution center. She went above and beyond for me, I’m forever thankful and appreciative her time and effort resolving the hunt for my package, where everyone one else was quick to pass the buck I was fortunate enough to come across her . Thank you very much 🙏🏾

We were second in line on a Sunday for a Passport on walk-in. There was a 9 am there but they didn't even fill out their paperwork prior to coming to the appointment, don't know why- but... Gloria was amazing with us because I read the directions on the application and I prepared for the appointment like I knew you needed check to pay US State Dept, etc. She even noticed I prepared for the appointment and commented as such. If the people didn't read the directions - like having to have both parents present when applying for a child's passport it was only to my advantage being a walk in because their "appointment" was quick. It's amazing to me how many people don't read directions prior to taking a lot of time reserving the appointment times and essentially not using the time appropriately -but, again to my advantage. Essentially, if you want to be seen efficiently- prepare for your visit and be nice to human beings - they will show you compassion and kindness when you do. I was in and out of there in 45 minutes being second in line for 2 new passport applications on a Sunday.

I haven't been to the post office in over 5 years. Why? I don't know. But I recently opened a small store online and started to ship way more than in the past. I'm here to leave a special thank you to the female employee who helped me the afternoon of 1 July. She was walking the floor helping other customers. She taught me how to use their new systems and tips to conveniently ship my items. Now I am self-sufficient (mostly). Thank you for going the extra mile to help a newbie. 💌 📬 🎁

Very professional and polite staff. We visited on Saturday without appointment, but our application was accepted after reasonable waiting time. Right prior visiting this USPS office we had really bad experience in USPS Oakton office, where arrogant, unprofessional short Asian lady employee (don’t know her name) refused to accept my son's passport application asking for unnecessary additional documentation.

Probably one of the busiest post office in Fairfax, Virginia due to it being the main hub of the county. I used for a mailbox, and it’s been perfect. The main post service shop can sometimes get a long line with only 2-3 postal clerks on the counter.

There is one issue I have that is concerning. On several nights when I came me to pick up my mail from the box, there was a homeless person either inside or just outside of the door.

I'd like to say that Sungsil and Joyce that both work in the back supporting small companies like ours. They consistently go the extra mile to help customers even when we showed up one minute before closing due to traffic. They are the best.

Been to five local USPS locations in the last year, and this was by far the best, fastest, and nicest.

I've had nothing but good experiences at this post office. There staff is probably the best of any post office in the area. I ship flat rate 2 or 3 times a week and there on point 90% of the time. Plenty of parking, easy to get in and out of.

The Passport office employees are kind and efficient to do their job perfectly. Tips for new passport request in this office:
1) Ask number ticket for waiting list when you get in the office
2) Bring your checkbook. they don't accept Credit Card. Otherwise you can pay with debit card, but extra fee will be added.
3) Prepare photo copy of your ID & documents before get there. it will save time and fee.
4) office closed at 2 PM !

I needed passport assistance and postal representative Janey was extremely helpful and worked patiently with me to resolve my problem. She went above and beyond to help my family, and deserves public kudos! Janet and her staff were extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of passport applications.

Please note that the passport hours are 8-4pm M-F and they also are open on Saturday and Sunday. Be careful for misinformation about their hours from third parties as they list outdated hours (no longer 9am-7pm).

They’re open on Sundays and close at 8:30pm on weekdays. That alone is amazing. Helpful staff. Stocked with boxes and self-service stations. Carrier facility. Can’t complain!

Great caring people and service. It really has a family environment and people who care. Charmaine was incredible and very helpful. She went above and beyond to help me. So was Janet. Janet was a sweet lady who was very helpful. These people are doing their jobs with limited resources, yet with a lot of love.
