I have both ordered from their website and visited their store. Easily the greatest video games store to buy from. They have amazing selection, and great customer satisfaction too. They have basically ensured I will never shop anywhere else for games again besides them. Keep up the amazing work!

This place is AMAZING! Their inventory is more extensive and unique than any game store anywhere on the East Coast. And this is coming from a big collector. I'm a big Import Game collector and they have an amazing selection of imports. I can spend hours in their store and browsing their website. My online orders are always shipped very quickly. I love eStarland. It's amazing!

This place is great. Their selection is huge and they have a good system to easily find if they have what you are looking for. Prices are on the high end, but worth it if you are looking for something in specific.

I have used these guys twice now and both times I have received fantastic service. The first time I sent a game to be repaired and found out it was a bootleg copy. They returned it no charge and even wrote me a letter stating how it was bootleg so I could get my money back from the seller.

The second time I purchased a game from them and was having trouble with it playing. I sent it and my game system to them thinking I was having trouble with the system. Turns out it was an issue with the game. They warrantied the game and did not charge me for looking at my game system. These people are the best when it comes to gaming systems and games. Look no further

After a disappointing visit a couple of years ago due to a rude encounter(can’t remember her name), I was hesitant to return to eStarland. However, I'm glad I did! This time, my experience was completely turned around, all thanks to Eric. His exceptional customer service, friendly demeanor, and chill attitude made my day. He went above and beyond to ensure I had a great shopping experience.

Lots of choice, good prices but what really blew my mind was the service. Not only was it friendly but they recognized me the next time I went. I felt very welcomed. I wish I knew the name of the young man who took care of me so I could write it here. He has tattoos on his arms if I remember correctly. Super cool guy, the kind you wanna sit and play with. Cool place!

This is no doubt the largest retro gaming store I’ve seen so far, i bought a few of my childhood favorite games from here. The customer service was great too. I plan on coming back to complete my collection.

I've generally had poor experiences with used/retro video game stores in the past, but eStarland provides exceptional service that surpasses the rest. The website can currently be problematic, but the employees are fantastic and will help with what they can. Prices are more than fair for high quality products.

I have been here several times and I always walk out buying something! 🤣 I love all the options and really clear organization of all the products. They basically have everything under the sun. If they don't have it physically in the store you can always order online!

This is easily the most impressive retro game store I have ever been in. The selection is crazy, its just full to the brim with all sorts of games and other goodies. The staff are friendly and chatted with me as I gushed over everything in the store. I wish I had more disposable income to spend more time here!

Love the fact that this niche retro/modern game store is just 20 minutes away from me, I enjoy coming here every now and then to pick out a title and chat with the employees for a good few minutes. Keep up the great work y’all!

I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about but I had a great first time experience today selling my Xbox 360 hardware and games. There was plenty of staff who were able to answer my questions. Getting my items checked in was fairly simple and Oscar helped facilitate the whole process. I would definitely recommend eStarland for buying and selling!

A friend and I run a once a month trip called the Nerd Tour. We are both from Fredericksburg and for the last two years have run the tour down there. A few months ago, we expanded the tour by adding a northern run which encompasses several stores in the Woodbridge/Lorton area.

I don't know if it's fate, or if due to my job sending me to Dulles/Sterling/Chantilly every so often, and one of my favorite games being Grandia that I found this place. Randomly, I was recommended this place via Tik Tok, and talked to my friend about it.

Today I came up here to scout the place pre Nerd Tour to get a sense of what they have. Holy hell. I wandered around the store for four hours, taking pics to send to him and then taking an in depth look for myself.

This place is IT. What a fantastic selection of retro and modern games, even imports! The Saturn and Dreamcast has loads of import games. There are also quite a few rare gems to find here, which you can also consult on their website for items/pricing. The best bit is the amount of IN BOX games you can find there, especially if you like to collect Sega Genesis games.They also carry strategy guides for popular games.

Aside from games, they have a great bit of merchandise related to gaming/anime. If you're into collecting waifu statues/figs they got you covered. Wallets, pins, hats, backpacks, socks and more also line their shelves. The back seems to also host a custom store, where you can get items custom made.

Broke my scouter, but I'd go back again.

Found a bunch of old games in my closet & traded them in literally thought I was gonna get $5 as expected but they gave me a reasonable amount of trade $$$ let’s say I didn’t leave disappointed I will be coming back to spend my credit & it’s cool that the credit can be in my account until I’m ready to use it … also they fix phones too cool place 💯

I got my PS Vita’s battery replaced a couple of months ago from here and I never knew how much of a difference a new battery would make. I play my vita almost everyday and I wish I had sent it here much sooner. I’m glad places like this exist and can perform repairs on systems that are no longer supported.

This was my first time purchasing with them. I ordered 3 games, but didn't receive an invoice, so I was concerned that they may have not got my order. I had purchased them as a guest, because I wasn't able to create an account for some odd reason. They had already taken the funds out of my account. When I reached out to them, the person who normally handles these issues was not in. But when I called again later, Rebecca, who was very friendly and nice (despite how busy they were), assisted immediately and reassured me that my order was received and already on its way. A little while later, I got an email from Chris, who also sent tracking. They both went above and beyond in helping me. Even though they were short staffed, due to people being out sick. I greatly appreciate both their help. Thank you!

Another note, estarland didn't have 1 of the games that I had purchased, but they only charged me for the 2 they had in stock. So they are definitely a trustworthy and honest company.

What you need to know: (1) Higher trade-in values than GameStop! (2) Friendly and knowledgeable staff, these people don't just work here, they know videogames and gaming culture. (3) In addition to buying/selling games/hardware/accessories, they also do repairs! (4) they carry software/hardware from the beginnings of gaming all up to current gen hardware (no PC gaming as far as I could tell, though). (5) You can do your trade-ins and purchases online and then pick up at the store OR use shipping services.

All in all, it's worth the drive, I regularly make the 20+ miles commute from where I live versus going to my local Gamestop, and it's worth it every time. I always leave happy and stoked to play with whatever I pick up. They've got a lifetime customer out of me for sure!!

If you are looking for an in-person retro game store, there's really no other option in the area. for that reason alone I'd give 5 stars, but the environment and the people are actually all really cool too! you should really check it out if you like games!!!
