Simple Good

What does this store NOT have??? I've been trying to be more sustainable and decided to visit the shop when I moved into my new apartment. I was clueless where to begin, but the staff was friendly and helpful. They guided me in the right direction, and I left with a bunch of awesome sustainable swaps. They also have really beautiful decor and clothing. I have to come back soon!!!! Thank you!!!!

Simple Good always has something special, whether it's a gift for someone else, or a personal treat. The pieces I have from this store make me feel elegant and professional, unlike anything else I own. The staff is very friendly and approachable. It also feels good knowing that the store mitigates problematic consumerism by focusing on a mission of eco-friendly and sustainably sourced goods. Highly recommend.

Love this place! They have the cutest things for the house and the cutest sustainable clothes and products. I’ve gotten everything from plants to bags to clothes and even notebooks and candles. Definitely recommend stopping in!

Gorgeous store!!!! I completely stand by their zero-waste outlook and appreciate all the eco-friendly goodies they offer. We bought bamboo toothbrushes for the entire family and we just love them! So excited to have found Simple Good and can't wait to go back :)

Love this store in Port Jefferson. They have the best candles! They are so unique and offer all kinds of ideas and solutions for having a more sustainable household. I have had the beeswax wrap for a couple of years and I use it all the time.

I visited the shop walking around Port Jefferson with friends! There we found eco friendly items for my daughter who is about to become a first time mom....like reusable nursing pads!!! So many great finds, too many to list! The friendly staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. Can't wait to return!

Love this store! All the zero waste products are great. I use the bar dish soap, reusable sponges & towels instead of paper towels, shampoo & conditioner bars, hand soap, dish brush , reusable straws, & so much more. The staff is friendly & very helpful. I love Port Jefferson & this store makes it an even better trip.

To begin with, this store smells incredible—could be the perfectly curated bundles of sage, lavender scented laundry soap, or bergamot all purpose cleaner. In addition to these great finds, there are a variety of bohemian-themed home decor items and clothing. Overall, it is an aesthetically pleasing environment with friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! Every time I go in here, everyone is so welcoming and informative. They always have what I’m looking for too. It’s always been tough for me to find eco-friendly stores on Long Island and now instead of ordering online, I can shop locally! Also, the location in Port Jefferson is awesome. Love love LOVEEEE this place.

I love Simple Good! This is the only store in the area where I feel like the entire store is dedicated to eliminating waste and being better for the planet. Also, it’s a great place to see work from some local artists, especially that of her partner Jennifer Hannaford.

Love the simple mantra of “Make Love, Not Waste”! Eco-friendly products to help you take care of your family and the planet. Genius. The website makes it quick and easy to order online, but if you’re lucky enough to be right in Port Jefferson, you can pop in to check out works from local artists like Jennifer Hannaford, too!

Absolutely adore this shop! My friend and I stumbled upon it on a day out and wanted to purchase everything we saw!!! Definitely recommend popping in!

Incredibly friendly staff without being pushy, providing great service while selling unique merchandise that aims for zero waste and using non-plastic resources. Like my new adorable plant based hairclip. The artist also signed her print for me. Will definitely be back.

Such a beautiful store! Take your time and see all of the little treasures that they have on the shelves. I love that everything is eco-friendly. I bought a shirt, a ring, nail polish, a loofah sponge and a patch. Don't forget to write an inspirational message on the chalkboard outside before you leave.

We need more shops like this not only on Long Island but New York as a whole. We aren't given many options in the way of organic, zero waste, and eco-friendly, and a lot of the time we are forced to support Amazon. It's refreshing to be able to shop here and on their website. There's a little bit for everybody here, think General Store for the Mother Earth Loving people...

Excellent shop, love the bamboo cutlery kit, and it even comes with a beautiful bamboo straw. Lots of Eco friendly items to help save mother Earth. The coffee candles keep the house smelling like a freshly brewed pot of Java at all times. Bravo

My new favorite spot to do some much needed retail therapy. Went in just to look and left happy with some goodies. 10/10 would shop again.

I purchased a beautiful black unisex t-shirt and Melanie the SimpleGood owner was so helpful, informative, and generous of her time. I learned so much about the zero waste movement and how her store is a part of the answer, the solution on Long Island. I can’t wait to do all my holiday shopping there!
