DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

I haven't shopped at this DSW in a long time and didn't know they remodeled this store and added a nail salon. They even carry COACH purses!! I ordered a pair of boots to be picked up at this location. The young lady at the register was so helpful. She retrieved the boots from the back, and they were what I expected... So disappointed! To my surprised, since I ordered it online, I don't get charged until pick up is confirmed. She just cancelled my order. It was so fast and simple! I love their selection of puppy pattern socks. So cute!! 🐩🐕🐩🐾🐶

I typically either order or pick up an order at the store about four times a year for certain shoes that my husband wears for work. And believe it or not they're over $100 and by the time I get done with my promo codes and bonuses that I've earned etc it will drop the price down to 45 give or take. They are an awesome store. The staff is actually well informed, they can actually answer question If you ask them. That is very rare these days. Typically you just get a glazed over stare, like they have no idea what you're talking about. But not at DSW, they're pretty good at handling questions, special orders, really anything that may be a problem or problematic. I have to say the customer service is off the charts great. If It wasn't, you'd be reading a different type of review. But I can't say a bad thing about them. At least not at this point who's to say what will happen in the future and if that happens I will update my review.

Today I had the best customer service and attention to my husband's needs at the Fairlakes DSW thanks to ASM Justin. I had to ask the young man at the checkout for the name of Justin so that I could thank him personally. Justin answered my questions, showed me the correct fit, and all of these details without the feet of my husband. I anticipated this would be difficult, Justin delivered exactly what my husband required. Thank you so very much.

The staff at this store are super helpful and courteous! Inventory is well-stocked and managed. It feels like the staff genuinely care about the appearance of the store.

Went in today to return a pair of shoes and didn’t have my receipt so I was expecting the worst. Instead, Danial was incredibly helpful and friendly! He was able to pull up my receipt using my phone number and process an exchange because I wanted to buy a new pair of shoes anyway and I got a great deal on my 3 new pair! Win win! Thank you, Danial!

Found everything I needed including a new pair of everyday shoes I wasn't expecting to find. They also have a Sketchers in this store if you're looking for one.

Very clean and well lit store. Decent sized men's footwear section. Great if you are looking for running shoes (good selection of vans as well)
Be prepared to wait in line for about 5min. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

If you want to have a laugh, go to the clearance section in the back and you will find some of the most funky shoes you have ever seen. Every once in a while you may find a diamond in the rough, but it's mostly rough.

DSW is a great one-stop shop. Didn't have the size I needed in store last trip but ordered online and the shoes arrived within a week to my house.

I found online a shoe I wanted. I had searched all over for the proper size. Once I saw it was in stock at DSW Fair Lakes I set my course for the store. Upon arrival I was greeted twice. Once at the door and another time closer to the merchandise. I was also asked if I needed any assistance. Most of the stores are laid out the same so I had an idea where I was headed so declined any assistance. I spotted the shoe and anticipation grew. I got to the location and as my luck would seem to always have it. The proper size is nowhere to be found. I check the display and rummage through the boxes left and right of the bin associated with the shoe. I search for an associate and come across Ms Pamela. She was working very hard and I hated to bother her but she was very pleasant to speak with. She didn’t just say we’re out of them and what we have is on the floor. First, she checked online orders, as they could have been purchased online prior to my arrival. She then sets out in search. She asked Bryanna, another employee that was hard at work, if there were another location they may be at. Now both Bryanna and Pamela were searching for the proper size shoe. I couldn’t believe it. Most places I go will just point you in a direction. Some will walk with you to the location where the shoe belongs and once they can’t find it there that’s it. Not these two ladies. I’m not sure where they found the shoe, but they did. What I assume happened is someone picked them up to purchase them, found something else they liked better and set them down nowhere close to where they belonged. So they found the size, I purchased and left. About 45 minutes had went by and I didn’t like the size or fit. So after ALL of that, I took the shoe back and traded for a completely different size that was in the proper place all along and would have not been so difficult to locate. Bryanna was still there when I returned the shoes. She wasn’t upset that I had asked her to look for a shoe that I was going to return 45 minutes. She was only concerned with me getting the size I wanted. I know to most it’s not a big deal, and I would have been fine had I not found the shoes, especially since the size I really needed wasn’t lost, but customer service like this isn’t easy to come across anymore. I’d dare say there is not many issues in that store when those two are on shift together. I want to thank them and let their management know, wonderful job ladies. From someone who thinks customer service outweighs the product, thank you.

Every DSW store I have been ever been to is usually pretty good and this one lives up to that expectation. The store is humongous and has a wide selection of shoes at low prices. The clearance section is a great way to find the deals you're looking for, but they also carry a good stock of new shoes.

I didn't interact with the staff much but they did offer help several times and the checkout process was smooth.The store was clean and well organized. This is a pet peeve of mine for shoe stores, so it's always nice when they have their act together.
DSW is great for coupons and specials notifications so make sure you sign up for the mail and email lists. I was very pleased with this location and I'll probably be back in the future.

I replace sneakers only about once every two years. This time I visited quite a few local stores before finding the opportunity to go to a DSW. My feet hurt, so it took a long time to try on the options I liked but I found plenty of choices. My choices were generally 30 to 50% off the prices in other stores, even during the January sales. The prices were so good, my budget covered two pairs instead of one.

Ruth (cashier) and Belinda (sales) are awesome. They both helped me tremendously. The store was cleaned and organized. I cant wait to go back. And I have never seen a DSW with a nail salon!!!

Had what I wanted, in my size, at my price. Tried on three different sizes and walked around for half an hour. Bought the right hiking boot.

As yoga instructors, we do not have much time to wear shoes because when do we need them on our mats? But when we do we always come here to find comfortable and fitting shoes! Never have walked out without a pair.

They 0have most shoes I like. Just wish they had a bigger selection. With that said they have awesome prices and it's hard to resist the urge to purchase here. I have shopped here since they opened and I recommend them.

Lots of great options, very clean and large store, staff is friendly without being intrusive.

I hate wasting time shopping for clothes. However, at DSW I was able to quickly find an awesome pair of dress shoes at a reasonable price. They have a good selection of casual, athletic and dress shoes.

This DSW has been redesigned in the best way possible!! I was very impressed with the new improved look as well as a Nail Salon!! Just when I thought they couldn't get any bigger!! Impressive🤗
