It's always stocked and has a very good range of different things to choose from in the deli selection. I live 5 hours away and we don't have as much variety as this one does. They also have an awesome fresh sushi selection again something my home town doesn't have.

I just want to give a shoutout to Amaria my cashier this morning, March 2nd at the Broadway/Campbell location.She was very friendly and bagged my groceries with like items of that same category. I was very impressed as I find this not to be the norm at most stores. Thank you for doing that and making my shopping experience there a pleasant one! 😁

The Great Global Slop-flop is upon us; just as the late Great Global Goat Rodeo Guru George Micheal hath painstakingly predicted. The Big Back Slide. Make of that as you will. To me it’s apparent what I am referring to: The world is churning in a downward motion, slowly, like diarrhea through a diabetic after a sour skittle, sausage,and chewing tabaco eating contest. So saddle up cowpeas. Because it’s a happening.

The customer service was very helpful and the cashiers were amazing. Very clean and good customer service.

The Pharmacy Staff Members were very cordial and helpful in the process of obtaining my RSV vaccine.

I habitually check expiration dates on items in buying because I want to know its shelf life in my pantry. Well, I came across expired and soon to expire mayonnaise and let a nearby employee know about it. It was his action that convinced me to give the store 5 stars. He really cared about the aged product and quickly got someone over to pull the item off the shelves. That's customer care. That's work pride. He apologized for the expired product and took immediate action to rectify the issue. That's worth 5 stars, IMHO.

Safeway has the largest variety of Lactaid ice cream that I've seen between W@L-Mart, Safeway and Fry'$. They also have a wide variety of the clear 1 liter clear fruit flavored soda.

I liked it but to me it's to expensive to buy groceries there Walmart is a lot cheaper for someone in a limited income 😔

Borderlands is a wonderful right off of downtown. Brewery tucked away for a perfect Tucson indoor or outdoor evening. The walls are covered with local art and rustic wood. Their beer selection is absolutely incredible and given nod to some local flavors such as Horchata, Prickle Pear Wheat or a summertime, watermelon, sour.

They have seasonal rotations and have even recently incorporated a slushy version of some of their drinks. Even though they specialize in their brews, they also have wine and various spirit collection. (I’ve had a $2 tequila shot during an event).

They are known for hosting really cool events, such as art classes, organization, gatherings, and music. They also have a taco truck that is built right next-door that works in collaboration with the brewery itself. Who doesn’t love beer and tacos?

Been shopping here for two years and haven't had a complaint until recently. Michael, who was working at self checkout at 8:20pm on the date of this review and has worked that same station for at least several months, has absolutely offensive body odor. Wash yourself, sir. Somebody in management needs to have a discussion w him because it hasn't been just once or twice but every time I see him it's just awful.

They had what I needed; even the bakery chocolate chunk cookies I love!

You could definitely do worse on your way out of town for a weekend getaway camping trip!

Probably my favorite Safeway location, this stands true despite the roadwork going on nearby. Their deli and bakery is consistently one of the best ones as well. Our cashier tonight was extremely efficient and was very polite. I have been coming once a week for the past 3 years to get groceries and I haven't had any notable issues. Very much recommend shopping here.

Love this store so much. It has all the food you could want and so many ways to save money. I can't tell you how many times I've came out of there with a smile. Employees are always helpful, sorta busy all day around, but I still love this store.

I've been shopping at this Safeway for quite some time. Ever since I was in my first semester. And although I have moved multiple times throughout downtown, midtown and the Eastside...I end up coming to this Safeway just because I am used to the overall great staff, great selection of foods and other various items that are all of good quality and fairly priced. I can walk into this particular Safeway at any given time and I can always locate what item or items that I am there to purchase and if I have ever needed assistance in the past whichever employee I asked for help was kind, polite, prompt and knowledgeable of the location of said item and on which particular brands were better quality and or better priced. The produce there is always fresh...and since I'm a vegetarian that is a huge plus on my end. The store is always very clean and tidy. Never has there been an issue with that. The bakery is amazing as well. I love their bagels. Again being vegetarian, I am grateful that they stock a good selection of quick and easy frozen meals that meet my dietary requirements. And another thing that I enjoy about this particular Safeway is that it's on the same road that I take to and from work everyday and that helps out a ton when you're as busy as a lot of us 30 something's are these days, haha. All in all I have to give a big shout out to the staff that keep this place running like a fine tuned machine. Thank you, you're efforts do not go unnoticed.

Honestly I came here to give this Safeway 5 stars for the sushi alone but now that I’m here I may as well say the other things that seem great, too. As far as the sushi tho, it’s as good as any restaurant around and I think that might be because of the guy who works there. I’ve seen him over years now and he always greets anyone looking at the sushi when he’s there, and how much he cares really shows. I love tuna and both the rolls and nigiri are DELICIOUS, always fresh and never fishy. Amazing. Ok also they keep a pretty good stock of everything and the staff are nice. I also love the little discount areas for the day old breads and other clearance items. I feel like it’s also a really reliable store. Idk if that makes sense, but what I mean is if it’s your neighborhood grocery, you learn it and the staff and they have excellent consistency. You know what to expect, and that’s what you get. I think that’s a great quality of a grocery store. 👏🏼
