CVS

This CVS is a lot better than the one at Gloucester Crossing. The one on Gloucester crossing is a disaster. At least at this CVS doesn't have a ridiculously long lines and at least the staff here are decent and don't have lousy attitudes like at the other CVS.

We moved to the area last September last year, finding new Dr's, Dentist's, pharmacy etc... is ALWAYS stressful.
The pharmacist and staff have ALL mad the transition helpful and professional. Best Pharmacist on the Island.
P.S. we tried a few.

Staff very helpful and friendly, particularly Theresa who helped at checkout.

Clean, well stocked, pleasant staff. Lots of parking. Pharmacy open select hours.

Vaccine- Received an email and text telling my appointment was today at 12pm, then got another email and text saying that it was tomorrow at 12pm, I called the pharmacy as to inquire about which was correct. The lady on the phone assured me I could come in today and it didn’t matter that I was vaccinated on the 1st and it’s the 27th day. So I got someone to watch my baby and I went to the pharmacy only to be told to come back tomorrow. Can you please communicate with each other better? Your all in one room in the pharmacy. Y’all should be on the same page. Appointment or not? Signs say appointment only, employees say it doesn’t matter, some employees say it does. One told me to come in, another told me to come back tomorrow. The inconvenience as a parent was infuriating at the time.

East Glo- pharmacy...I'm Disappointed. Why do they ignore customers? They look over at you and ignore you, it takes a few minutes to help someone. Filling containers is more important, I guess! I was on the clock picking up for somebody..
I know one girl's name is Sam. I know she saw me. She finally spoke to me after about 7 minutes, and said somebody will be with me 1 minute. I still had to wait a few minutes. For what I dont know. She finally talked to me because another person was dropping off. Rude staff members!

The pharmacy is disorganized. The store itself feels packed to the gills. Its always a mess. The pharmacy has called with their robo callers several times that my kids perscriptionsnwere ready only to get there and find out no its not. Then have to wait with the other parents and their sick kids while they are waiting for their orders. The pharmacy is never ready ever.

This CVS employees are unhelpful and rude at this location. The pharmacy staff is very unhelpful and appear to be inefficient in the way they manage service to customers. They don't seem to care about providing any level of customer care.

This store never seems to have prescriptions in stock every time I try to reorder. Is it hard to do inventory before you run out?

absolutely awful the two night shift ladies were extremely rude, saying we had to make it quick because they needed to go home and the registers were closed (which they shouldnt be) and then the lady gave me attitude when self checkout wasnt working. hope those two old ladies get fired

Switched to Walgreens and I could not be happier! If I never enter a CVS again in my life it will still be too soon.

Due to prescription shortages I was told I should call up the pharmacy first to see if it’s available. I wasn’t able to fill my prescription last month so I wanted to be sure I could fill my most recent prescription, and if not, maybe a suggestion of another cvs to call.

Instead the woman who answered the pharmacy phone was extremely rude, her tone was harsh and aggressive. She even went so far as to say that giving me that info would leave her vulnerable for robbery. I thought that was absurd since last month they were able to look it up in person and write it down for me. And here’s the kicker, all this was before she even asked to look up my name and order history. Turns out I had insurance issue this time, not a supply issue like last month. (It’s always something right?!) a little communication goes a long way.

I have no idea what kind of stress she was experiencing or issues in her personal life that made her feel the need to transfer it on me, but I don’t appreciate it. There was no reason to give me an attitude. I never gave her a hard time. I’m just trying to fill my prescription. It’s not like it’s opioids or pain killers.

Prescription was “out of stock” again. I’m forced to deal with this nonsense every month. I spoke to the woman at the counter and was given the same attitude. All I wanted to know is where I should have my doctor send my prescription to be filled if they can’t do so. I had even shown her the entry on my cvs app that said I needed to contact the pharmacist to find a nearby location that could fill my prescription. That was exactly what I was trying to do. She wanted my doctor to call around town like they have all kinds of time to wait on hold with rude pharmacist. Eventually she hinted that the location at Gloucester crossing “might be able to fill it”. Seriously, just give me an answer, can they or can’t they fill my prescription? I have to go through the effort of having them send in a new prescription to a different location, I’d like to know for certain that it’s in stock first. Why is that so difficult? I made that concern known, instead she explained how it’s illegal to tell me what’s in thier safe?! I don’t want to know what’s in their safe, that’s absurd. I just want to know if they can fill my 30 day supply. Nothing worse than being treated like a criminal every month.

Then to top it off, as I walked away she made a snide comment, along the lines of “I’m done”. You know a little empathy would be fantastic! How would she feel if she had to go every other month without her medication?

So I called my doctor and requested them to transfer the prescription over to Gloucester crossing. Anyone want to predict the outcome? Will it be filled or out of stock again this month? Who knows? I’ll probably have to go without it again this month. Ridiculous
