After playing tourist at the 2 light place with the beautiful view i was left hungry. Saw the sign for giant lobster roll and decided to stop, glad I did.

Quaint corner store run by Romanian family for 14 years. No wheelchair access. Giant lobster roll did not disappoint! Well known for grinders, takeout dinners ready to cook, small wine cellar. Several tables for eating in. Reasonable prices

Recently drove past and saw the sign that says Giant lobster rolls, so we went in to check it out!!! My BF was very impressed with his lobster roll and said it was out of this world. I ordered the turkey bacon melt and realized halfway thru my sandwich there was mayo on it.. no where on the sign did it say mayo so I assumed it wasn't going to have it on, otherwise I would have asked for no mayo. I was disappointed with that but the turkey was huge and fresh!!! Knowing that I'll order without mayo next time bc we will definitely be back!!!

This is probably my favorite sandwich shop in the entire state. Everything is so fresh and a great value

$24 for a quality giant lobster roll beats overpaying for the touristy ones. Worth a quick stop off the road

Suggested by a volunteer hide at the lighthouse off Portland, the food was great, the service was awesome, everyone should try here. Also, this is the ONLY place we saw selling what i think of as a "lobster roll" for a reasonable price. All the tourist areas were over $40/roll. Just a great place 5 stars!

I highly recommend the Ocean House Market! I ordered a garden salad with chicken salad and everything was very fresh and delicious! I will definitely be back to eat here!

Easily the best value around for lobster rolls. Large and delicious. Don't forget to add either their clam or corn chowder.... both hearty and tasty

Giant lobster roll is out of this world! Banana bread is perfect, cute cellar with a great selection of wine and beer. Highly recommend this place! August 2022

This place is awesome . Super friendly. The food is delicious and they have prepped meals all you have to do is put it in the oven and dinner is served . Love this place! You won't be disappointed . Check it out .

I found Ocean House by chance. I was driving up to Acadia from NH and saw the chalk sign advertising lobster rolls and decided to give it a shot. I am so glad I did because it turned out to be one of the 5 best things I've ever eaten. It was fantastic, it was incredible, it blew my mind. Made with a generous helping of fresh picked lobster tossed in mayo with some cracked black pepper and a dabbling of lettuce to add some texture. It was the stuff dreams are made of. If I stayed in Portland for a week, I'd eat here every single day.

Ocean House Market has the ABSOLUTE best Thanksgiving sub!!! They are always so friendly and fast. The order is always perfect. It also doesn't hurt that they have a great rotating local beer selection!! I couldn't say enough great things about this place and the owners. We love it ❤

Stopped by on the way back from Wolfe's Neck -- I was asked by who I assume was the owner if I had eaten his soup before, I said no. He told me I would love it and boy was he right! Best tomato bisque I've ever had with some perfectly toasted bread on the side.

A great option for food in the Cape Elizabeth / South Portland area. The Thursday special of lasagna and bread is fantastic, with a large portion and a ton of meat in the lasagna itself. There is also an expansive wine and drink selection as well.

Great place! My favorite is the house special, a thanksgiving style sandwich on a fresh baguette, a thick cut of fresh turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and mayo. Lots of fresh food options at great prices, great beer & wine selection, and this place is always open on holidays!

Awesome deli sandwiches and frozen mackerel for bait and a boat load of micro-brews! They also have a fine wine section as well... Yeah!
