I searched on Google for a restaurant with clam chowder and possibly Lobster and found The Snow Squall Restaurant which was right across the Casco Bay Bridge in Autumn 2019.  This area was residential as well as commercial with plenty of parking for even our 25 foot RV.   The food and the services was really great so I give a FIVE star in this review. My husband and I had the chowder and split crab cakes as an appetizer. They have a full bar including local beers which were easy to shop and enjoy. The meal and experience was amazing!

Such a cool and whimsical restaurant! Amazing food from local vendors. Great atmosphere and they had a live band when we went. Definitely a hidden gem!

The food...what can I say except it's exquisite. I got the crab encrusted haddock with lemon and spinach rissoto. Let me just say this fish was moist, full of flavor, light, and deliciously decadent. The Chai martini was sweet but very well balanced. I am counting down the minutes til the next time I'm here.

This place is a must try! Great portions and solid prices for the portions! Friendly staff and bright atmosphere. The only thing that I found frustrating was their price for a burger. They charge for a number of toppings. Otherwise, this is a must try place!

I ate brunch here for the first time since living in Portland and thoroughly enjoyed my meal and experience. The location is perfect. Right on the marina in Cape Elizabeth. There are options for outdoor and indoor dining and the patio is nice if you want to sit outside. I would love to come back for a dinner in the near future.
Service is a bit slow but I didn't mind and it wasn't unreasonable. It makes for a nice break in the day and if I sit down to a restaurant, I'm not there to rush.
The owner was lovely and accommodating. I will definitely be back. This local business certainly deserves the support!

We make a point to try a new restaurant every week & this week we hit a WINNER with The Snow Squall restaurant. What a pleasant surprise / good food / GREAT SERVICE & a 5 star chef & owner. I really can not say enough about the service we received from Danielle. She was amazing. I have a food allergy & she & the chef made sure I was aware of the ingredients in the food. I HIGHLY recommend this spot. Will be back soon.

Danielle our server, promptly filled our glasses with water and provided us and several other customers with a warm welcome. This place has a great craft beer selection and delicious bites. We ordered the calamari and it was scrumptious! The pineapple upside down cake was also fantastic!

Thanks for the immediate rehydration after a long walk And the attentive service!

Thank you!

Great meal in a great location, in great outdoor seating, seated by a gracious host and served by a wonderful waitress. Both the Char Grilled Rib Eye Steak and the Seared Diver Scallops were perfectly prepared though the steak could have had just touch of salt (it had none) to enhance the flavor. We would like to revisit tomorrow for another great meal.

We live around the corner and go all the time. It's just the kinda place where you go and you're glad after.

And they always have a bunch of specials. I'm writing because the one I had tonight just blew me away. Seared scallop appetizer sounds simple enough. But it was on this huge zuchini egg cake with glazed red cabbage bed. It was amazing. Texture, taste, temp all worked together, the portion was huge (entree was great too, but only had a few bites).

There's nothing on this side of the Fore that compares (tho David's is pretty good). There are places with views, but if you want culinary, this is the place. And tho there are lots of top eats in Portland, more people should make a bridge trip for this place.

(ANOTHER POINT...even tho it's the food that brings us back, this place is also really comfy. They have a great bar and a little fireplace nook for curling up in the winter)

I’ve always loved this restaurant for its food and hospitality. I recently dined in and had the most caring and compassionate bar tender, Meghan. Though I don’t know Megan well, it’s clear to see this restaurant cares deeply about its clientele and has a strong focus on shared core values. This restaurant become more of a family than a casual dining experience. I would highly recommend!

Great restaurant. Definitely worth a visit if you have never been, and if you have been I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Very fair prices for excellent food and service, even when the place is packed. Locally sourced ingredients and a solid beer and wine selection. Live music and a fantastic atmosphere top off this wonderful dinner experience.

Great craft beer selection including Stone IPA. Super happy hour from 5-7. Haddock chowder is excellent. Buttermilk fried chicken is very good and some of the seafood pasta dishes are the best I've had. Highly recommend this place.

Went last night for dinner, it was GREAT! Appetizer, 2 entrees and 2 cocktails came to $60, the service was great and it was so clean and cute. HIGHLY recommend if you want a place to eat in Knightsville!

Great food with a relaxed atmosphere. One of our favorite places to eat close to home. The nachos are a great plate to share, so we love taking family and friends here. We often come here with our infant daughter and the staff are always inviting and accommodating.

Good food and drinks. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. Nice decore with lots of space. And........you don't have to go into Portland if you live on the other side of the bridge. Wicked nice owner too. Try the lobster sliders.

A locals favorite restaurant. Eat here weekly as we want to make sure this wonderful locally owned eatery is here for years to come. Been eating at the Snow Squall since the mid 1990's. Looking forward to 30 more years...

I love The Snow Squall. It has to be one of the best values in the area. Local establishment with a very nice atmosphere, great menu and surprisingly fair prices. I have been taking friends and clients here for years and have had nothing but good experiences.
