What a first-rate shop! The owner and staff are great folks. There is a chill vibe. The supply of prebuilds seems extensive and they have lots of parts available as well, RJ was helping someone find just the right part while I was there. It seems like a community shop.

Best place for RC cars in the Bay Area! You will see many online videos of people who buy their cars at JJ Customs. The staff is super friendly and have helped me on many custom projects. Go there, hang out, buy an amazing RC car, you won't be disappointed. 5 stars !!

One of the best customer service I have received from any of the stores ever. The guys were extremely friendly and were more than willing to show any of the products on display there. Patiently showed and provided description of anything I asked for. In fact, we stayed for more than an hour post the closing hours. The guys showed how quick those cars were on the road.
Folks are really passionate about what they do and that shows up on their faces. Kudos guys.

So glad I found this store. So glad I got to meet these wonderful guys.

Update: They have moved to a new location from the past 7months. Got a TRX4 Defender this time ( Dec 30th, 2021 ). Buying experience was as usual great! Would love coming back again

Great place for all sorts of RC related needs! Their staff is incredibly helpful and genuinely supportive when it comes to helping their customers in any way it seems. I will certainly be going back.

My son & I were searching the internet for a replacement battery for his RC car, when we happened upon JJ Customs, LLC's website. They had the exact battery that we needed & at a reasonable price. From there, we decided to scroll through their RC vehicle inventory bc my son's 11th birthday was coming up & he has been on the hunt for a cool RC Chevy Truck; well, we found the perfect RC Chevy Truck & placed the order. Within 24-48 hours of placing the order, I received a personal email from Jason with JJ Customs thanking me for my order & giving me information about the shipments. He also lended us a hand locating another 'hard-to-find' RC car battery that he had in his inventory. He took extra time out of his busy day to make sure the dimensions of the battery were correct. Jason also went out of his way to ship the RC Chevy Truck in time for my son's birthday. My husband is a small business owner, so we always look for opportunities to support other small family owned businesses & supporting JJ Customs has been a great decision from the start! RJ & Shawn are great guys. Really friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable on alot of things in this RC world to get my boys & I started. Bought a few RC from them. And now our "beginner" journey into this hobby starts😆 I met the owner and majority of the staff there and they are all very humble and down to earth dudes. Thanks guys for everything!!

Amazing inventory of RC cars and trucks. All fully assembled and out of the box. You get to touch feel and really check out. Owner is really cool and friendly. Plenty of spare parts and upgrades for every model he sells

Went here to upgrade my motors on my little Hosim RC truck. After talking to the owner (Marvin) for about 20 mins, he advised me to just get a new car which would cost the same as an upgrade. Didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need nor try and stiff me knowing the lack of knowledge wasn't there. Plus the new car would be easier and cheaper to upgrade in the future. Great honest guy running a great shop.

Jason is very helpful for me. I say “is” because I will be back. I am a beginner drone pilot hoping to get better. He set me up with not one but two drones in my budget and they are high quality. I bring my nitro RCs for diagnosis since they can be difficult even for people who have been in the hobby for awhile . Jason is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and has helped me resolve my overheating and tuning issues

When I write a review is because someone really deserves to be recognized and Jason has all the skills and knowledge about what customer service really means. If you’re looking for an RC hobby shop this is definitely the one. I been shopping here for years and I can honestly say the Jason takes the time to take care of you and the part I like the most he is not a salesman pushing sales down your throat he is patient and explains his products and different options. He will also give you different recommendations according to your RC needs. Jason my respects to you keep up the excellent service and I’ll see you soon.

I went here for the swap meet. The store is clean and has pretty good inventory.

Jason is the best! Even though his shop was physically closed due to Covid when I bought my first RC truck, he was open online. He shipped the truck extremely fast and provided support after my purchase. His customer service is above and beyond. I won't buy from anyone else and I will definitely purchase my next RC from him. Highly recommended.

They were honest and straightforward with very reasonable pricing, and obviously passionate and knowledgeable about the hobby. You don’t need to go anywhere else!

Hands down the best rc shop in the whole bay area. The owner is an rc enthusiast and loves the hobby just as much as us and is dedicated to providing to the customers. The folks employed there have the best customer service. They have just about every thing rc there. And if they don't they more then likely can get it for you. Everything that you can purchase is on display...out of the box which is nice...you get to see what you're buying before buying.

JJ CUSTOMS is the real deal, if your car has a problem they can fix it!!! Felt like family from the first time I walked in. Jason always makes time for his customers and is transparent with you 100% all with a huge smile. The other local hobby shops are great but will never give you the time of day like JJ CUSTOMS will and for that I give a 5 star review and also recommend you spend with a shop that treats you right. Can’t wait for the new shop to open so I can continue doing business with the best hobby shop in the bay.
