Amazing place to explore Imported bass tackle! It is the biggest inventory of JDM that I’ve seen outside of Asia. The owner Doyle is a very nice guy and answered all of my questions. If you want to see some amazing and rare baits in person, stop by!

This place is awesome and the owner couldnt be a more personable guy.. He's got fishing equipment you've never seen before and a skateshop nextdoor with so many skateboards and clothing going up that it will blow your mind..I felt like I was a kid again standing there with my kids.. I didnt wanna leave and he's not even done yet he said. So glad this guy built something here at the lake that everyone can enjoy from. We're about to be regulars.

Such a great selection of everything you could ever need for fishing, especially the hard to find things! Also has a new skateboard shop that has by far the best selection of decks and accessories I’ve ever seen. If your in to skateboarding or fishing this is the place to go! I was fortunate enough to meet the owner, such a good guy, he made me feel comfortable and was able to answer all the questions I had! (Which is a lot because I’m new to fishing) Do yourself a favor, if you’re looking for the best quality tackle, this is the only place you should go!

Stumbled upon this "Great!!" tackle store while looking for hard to get Japanese lures. So many options and NO paying super expensive shipping from overseas!! I have been impressed with the quality and workmanship of the lures I bought(cranks/several soft plastics) and it's nice to call a US number to ask questions if needed! This store is located in my old home town and I'll def go by there next time I visit!

I have been bass fishing for over 40 years and this is by far the best tackle store I have had the pleasure to shop. This is some of the highest quality tackle you can find anywhere, the prices will reflect that. Anyone complaining about pricing needs to go elsewhere. The owner is a committed enthusiast and his stock and store reflect that.

This store is great, they carry high end bass fishing gear that you will not find at big box stores in town. They have a huge selection of lures, more options than I have seen at any store. I will go back before I go to basspro or gander, this place is way better.

Doyle's shop is an ABSOLUTE GEM. As a tackle junkie...his shop is a treasure trove of hard to find JDM baits and lures that i usually have to scour the internet to find. What's more, EXCELLENT customer service, he personally gave me a ring to provide an update on my order and refund some shipping on two orders i placed to save me some $$. I hope his store is around for years to come because I'm hooked and definitely a life-long customer. Thanks again Doyle!

I recently purchased some balsa cranks and a Phat Lab swimbait. The order was over $100 (just stating a fact). Doyle sent an email expressing his gratification of the order and requested that I not hesitate to reply back if I had any questions or comments. The order arrived in a timely manner and was properly packaged.
They have an impressive selection of JDM baits. I will more-than-likely purchase from Carolina Tackle again.

This store is the pinnacle of tournament bass fishing tackle. If you are a tournament bass angler you have to come see this place. He has rare hard to find lures that you won't find at Bass Pro Shops. He is also a super nice guy and made me a customer for life.

Doyle has the largest selection of megabass I have seen anywhere. Not to mentioned every single other hard to find bait imaginable.

He’s also just a great guy to talk to. Carolina Fishing tackle has become part of our annual trip to the south chasing bass

I’ve been to a lot of tackle shops and this is by far the best/coolest one I’ve ever been in. All the best, latest, and classic lures you’ve ever heard of, they have here. From romans to imported to hard to find s-pro styles and colors this place has them all, and at a decent price. A++++

I was on the way to Winston-Salem to attend the International Custom Rod Builders Expo. I knew I had to make a special trip to see this place in person. I'm really glad we did. It's like walking into a Japanese tackle shop. Megabass, Deps, Jackall, Nories, Reins, etc. It's all here under one roof. Doyle is a great guy and really takes a lot of pride in his store. The reason I know is because he apologized numerous times about the appearance of the store due to show he is prepping for up North. I need to check out his new location soon which is in the works. I will drive from Greenville, SC just to visit him when the new location is up and running.

Absolutely the best selection of swimbaits you find anywhere in the Carolinas. Maybe the SouthEast. The owner, Doyle, is a super guy with industry knowledge second to none. Great selection, excellent pricing and customer service....I shop there every chance I get!

If anyone is looking for hard to find japanese lures, tournamnet tackle, exclusive colors, and the latest technology in the bass fishing industry carolina fishing tackle is right up your alley. Doyle (the owner) cares about what products he has on the shelf and will not just carry junk to make a buck. When you walk in it looks like the apple store of tackle shops, all lures are neatly hanging on the racks, top dollar lures are showcased in glass cases keeping these lures safe for the buyers. I highly recommend checking out the website and coming in the shop to find lures no one else has. This superier tackle shop will make your jaw drop. Deffinitley worth the drive

Really awesome place to visit if your a tackle junkie. He has some awesome baits available and definitely should be on your mind when shopping for tackle online if you don't have the option to visit the store.

Great tackle store. The best selection of big baits on the east coast. Doyle is a great dude that I've bought quite a bit of stuff from. The negative reviews are obviously bogus.

I am a regular here. Warning: these lures are top tier and you will spend a pretty penny on these lures. You won't get these type of lure anywhere else in the area. Everytime I go there I always leave happy.
