One of the best independent bookstores. They have amazing events, a large selection of books, and very friendly staff! Worth the stop and be sure to sign up for all their wonderful events!

I have not been in the store, as I live in TX, but my online experience with them was top tier! The shipping cost was very affordable and it arrived in just a few days! The packaging was excellent as well. Not only did they ship it in a book appropriate box size (I hate when the box is too big because the book knocks around and gets damaged) but they also bubble wrapped AND saran wrapped it for optimum protection! I've had a wonderful experience with them and would highly recommend them for your book needs. If this is the kind of service they provide for online orders, I can only assume their in store service is just as exceptional. Thank you for my book!

lovely book shop. mr bingley is the cutest cat in the world and is very polite. he was in his no touch corner but he is nice to look at regardless. he looked like he was taking the best nap of his life.

My kids and I randomly came across this store. Great place, super friendly staff. My daughter found the book she was looking for and both my kids loves the cat that was hanging out.

This is everything I was searching for in a book store 🤩. I want to thank the lovely staff and a big super shout out to Kelly (from another Kelli)! Her recommendations were spot on for me! I even started a series she recommended (I'm on the 2nd book currently!) AND have purchased the 1st book in a second recommended series from this store! Super cozy little bookshop in downtown historic Mobile. Organized by genre and “hyper genre” with a slightly spooky focus. Really fun selection, friendly staff and an adorable bookstore cat. Seems like a special and cozy little spot. Highly recommend a visit!

The best local bookstore around! The staff is very kind and well-read. They're happy to help you with book suggestions in just about any genre. Selection is small (it can't hold ALL the books) but they are happy to order/find any thing you request. The store also hosts fun book events like signings, book clubs, and even a midnight release party. If I lived closer (and didn't have to go to work), I'd be there every day!

This is a fun little bookstore in downtown Mobile. The set up is cute and the staff is friendly, but what made my day was the store cat, Bingley. He followed us around meowing, seemingly pointing us to his preferred book selections. While we were there some journals did fall into the floor on their own. The employee said it was due to uneven floors, but I'm not sure...

This book store is great for browsing, it has charm and is nicely decorated (peep the store cat inside!). I believe they offer brewed coffee and tea inside. I also bought some books online for pickup and it was very easy.

This is a great independent book store. They have a kids section and a teen section. When we came in a local author was reading to a group of children.

Like all of the finer Copenhagen bookstores in any James Rollins book there is a cat. 🐈‍⬛ Mr. Bingley is the cutest cat in Mobile.

Each section has a classics, local author and local section book recommendations. The geometry of the lay out draws you in wanting to see what is around the next corner.

Alex was an excellent ambassador for this establishment. He answered all of our questions patiently while he was on his way to lunch we later learned. The level of customer service is unsurpassed.

They have a book buying service that rivals Amazon for independent book stores. I don’t know about you but Jeff Bezos has got enough of my money.

This is a expertly put together book store. You’ll feel right at home. The book selection is fun. This shop has a few reading nooks tucked away in a few places in the store. If you like to read I would highly recommend this books shop. The books show also has a coffee nook with a kurige.

This is such a charming bookstore with good energy, kind folks, and a enthusiastic & dedicated local following. I loved the selection. There were plenty of witchy books--many of which were released in recent years--so the selection felt fresh and not dated or stale. Every section felt lovingly and thoughtfully curated.

The stairs are definitely for the adventuresome--be careful if you have balance/stability issues--but otherwise the space is lovely and welcoming and very comfortable!

First place I checked out in Mobile which coincided with the November ArtWalk.
Love this bookstore, something for everyone and lots for me. Cool local history books, guides, eclectic times, as well as typical contemporary bookstore fare.
