Pineda Market

One of the few hispanic/etnic market around. I go there to purchase what waltmart will not carry plus they have a meat markets as well. Great place to get you Psofrito and more. Good prices overall

I’ve been to all the markets in Carthage and I still choose to come here over all of the other places in the area. This family is ALWAYS so friendly each time I come in. They always compliment my mijas blue eyes and don’t bat an eye when half of our purchase is always candy, pan dulce and paletas 😂 Been coming here a few years now. Great prices and gorgeous dishes! When my daughter knows I have to swing by here for groceries, she HAS to come with me or I won’t hear the end of it. Good people.

Large selection of really good stuff... I got some Red Rice Seasoning Mix, I'm excited to try it... I like this store..

I love shopping here. They have really good meat too choose from. I normally get the chorizo and al pastor.

Love coming here for all the Mexican treats my husband grew up with. The owner knows us by sight and always lets us know when he's getting new things in, or points out things he thinks my husband will enjoy. There is a particular kind of soup my husband loves but we can't find at any regular stores, and have only found it at Mexican supermarkets in northwest Arkansas before we started coming to this shop. He always has a full box on hand for my husband.

They recently expanded into a bigger space and now have a meat counter! We've only tried their marinated fajita meat so far, but are looking forward to trying more in the future!

Great place and great people! I am glad I stumbled across this gem of a store! If you have not shopped here, you must stop in. The lady who runs the store is sooo sweet and is sure to remember your face. They have hand made items and so so many things from produce to desserts and laundry soap (that smells amazing, by the way) to piñatas- much that is not carried at other bigger stores here. I love this store and my kids love this store. Great atmosphere. Definitely one of the best local businesses in town! You must check them out.

Long over do Latino style mercado in Joplin. Great shopping experience.

I stopped in yesterday for a few things for a recipe I want to try. I left with everything I needed, plus a few extra items. The owner was very kind and helpful, asking what I was making, checking to be sure I had all the ingredients I needed and made suggestions. I’ll be back!

I love this place. I come in for almost two dozen pan dulce regularly for my family (4 ninos) and they never say anything to me about how much pan dulce I'm buying lol. I'm Hispanic (family from Mexico but I was born in the states) but my husband is Spanish so all of our kids are blonde and blue eyed ( a lot of people don't know that about Spaniards) and they never make me feel like I don't belong there or that I don't know what the products are.

Just moved to the area from Kansas City and was sad to move away from my mercado. I tried Guerrero's in Carthage but I saw mold on their pan dulce one day when I walked in. I also saw them being really rude to customers about masks even though that's been lifted by the city. I did some research and found this place! Been here several times now and it will definitely be our spot! They're always very sweet too. I love that their little one is always running around! It's a family spot!

Pineda is a great place if you are looking for Halal chicken or meat. It accepts the EBT card. Lovely staffs and great service ❤

A wonderful place! They do a fantastic job of stocking shelves with so many things you might be missing from central America or Mexico. I was excited to find yuca (frozen) and queso duro.

Awesome market, with fresh produce and good candy. Very friendly. I picked up some tamarind, and a tres leches 🍰🍰

Today was our 1st time at the Pineda Market. Very pleased with the selection and prices.
