Best antiquarian book shop we've found in South Carolina. Angel and Jerry are very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. You definitely need to experience this shop.

Is there anything more enticing than a used bookstore? We stopped by hoping to pass a little time while we were waiting for a restaurant to open and ended up spending 3 hours browsing and chatting with fellow book lovers. You find such wonderful treasures. If you love books and are looking to discover something new to you or just wanted to lose some time, this is the place to do it.

Absolutely amazing bookstore with all kinds of books on all types of topics. This is the type of store you will end up buying a book more than a hundred years old, a book you'd never ever have come across otherwise. The owners are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. For any book lover who happens to be in the area, this is a must-visit.

Magical. Delightful. An oasis of warmth and community around a shared love of literature. I just discovered this treasure today and I highly recommend avid readers, collectors, adventurers, and eccentrics to stop in for an unforgettable experience.

What a wonderful treasure trove! Angel is a sweetheart and I had great fun chatting with her while wandering about her shop. All of my favourite kinds of books, and plenty of beautiful, rare tomes and volumes to pore over. I could easily spend the day there. A month even!

They have a Bible from the 1500s. So beautiful.

Angel is one of the owners and the store is named after her. Jerry is the other owner and this husband/wife team have a wealth of knowledge and experience that can help you find a book you will love. They have signed copies, first editions, and almost anything you may desire. Stop in a talk with them for a few minutes and you will feel right at home. Make sure you have some time, because you could get sucked in and visit for hours. Tell them that I sent you and they will have no clue what you mean. (It will be our joke.)

Stopped here almost completely by accident but glad we did. This is a nice little bookshop with tons of older volumes and just a wonderful mix of all genres. Only had limited time to go through it so will definitely return when I can take my time. Owners are very nice and good to talk to.

My Husband and I are visiting from Fl. and found Angel's bookstore on the "Nearest me" google search. We love books and supporting the local people anywhere we go so we popped in to check it out. Not only is this an incredible book store with an incredible range of books but the owners Angel and her husband Jerry are two of the most down to earth (if not crazy) people we ever met. The two of them know their inventory to the exact book and placement. When my husband asked about a rare book Jerry pointed to the top of the shelf and said 'That one". When I told him I was recently interest in a certain genre but didn't know any authors, Jerry brought me the section and they both gave me a list of books they had read and loved. We will definitely be back the next time were in Greenville.

Such a great place! While I’m not an expert collector by any means, I do love a good book and a knowledgeable person to help me find one. Lucky for me, this shop has both! I had a great experience and will certainly be back.

Everytime I go I feel welcomed and at home. I’ve met some amazing people here, where we can even sit down and just discuss life and various other topics. I recommend them to everyone that I know! Such a beautiful collection of new AND old books!

When I walked in, I wasn't sure what to expect. But I absolutely loved the experience. I was greeted by the sweetest lil fox terrier named Louie and his owner Daphne is the best too. I could sit in there talking for hours with her and petting that sweet lil doggy. It's definitely a place I wouldn't mind coming back to.

What a great place! Can't believe it's been here three years and I didn't know about it. A treasure trove of older/out of print books, collectors items, signed editions, and a really extensive local history section. They buy and trade for store credit as well!

Wonderful shop run by a lovely married couple. They have an amazing library that rivals the more well known downtown Joes Bookshop. I especially liked their collection of classics. It’s a little tucked away so it’s easy to miss but definitely worth a stop!

This is the best vintage bookshop I have ever been in. The collection is extensive, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I used to be more of a reader than a collector, but thanks to Angel and Jerry, that is beginning to change.

Great shop. Angel is really helpful and a delight to chat with. I'm so glad I found this little gem. Lots of rare and hard to find books. Many are signed and first editions as well.

Amazing collection of hard cover books.

My husband is an avid book collector, and I am only beginning to collect but this is the shop for top notch books! Angel was beyond friendly and helpful, I cannot wait to frequent this shop in the future.
