Renting from On the Mend was a great experience. Marsi and Macaire were pleasant and professional and guided me to the perfect chairs for my 94- and 91-year old parents’ visit to NY for Christmas. My dad loved the chair so much, he wants to buy one for his apartment. I can’t leave out the delivery crew. They arrived on time, were pleasant and professional, and took care with getting the chairs into the house. The chairs and walker were clean and in excellent condition. My granddaughter is crawling and loves anything with wheels, so I wanted to wipe off the wheels since she was touching them. No dirt was on the wheels. Beginning to end, On The Mend staff made this an easy and enjoyable renting experience.

Liam tirelessly worked to get the stair lift installed by the time my uncle arrived home from rehabilitation. He also provided a hospital bed, recliner chair, and even suggestions on in home nursing. Their store is also great. Be sure to visit!

Employees are so helpful! I needed a wheelchair that could accommodate a leg casted straight, and Macaire immediately helped me and had the wheelchair reserved for me at a great price right away. Pick up and drop off were so easy. Highly recommend!

Mt. Kisco store & staff are all excellent. My mom and I came in to look for a cane. She found the perfect one! She will return to purchase shoes there soon. The staff are to be commended for their ability to communicate with my mom who is deaf! Thank you!

I recently had an interaction with this store that was not as I had hoped. But, the extent that the owners went to, to make it right was so extraordinary, that I am withdrawing the original review and instead giving them 5 stars for how seriously they take what they do. They might have made a mistake, but their efforts to make it right, have made it right with me. I will give them another chance, I hope you do too.

Excellent service all around, from the friendly customer service at the store to the caring technician that delivered and assembled the bed at our home. I called in the morning and by 2pm we had a fully electrical hospital bed delivered for my son, who had been in an awful accident. He loves the bed, he even says that he likes it better then the one at the hospital. HIGHLY RECOMMEND their services.

Our shopping for a recliner/lift chair was a very good experience. It was our first experience in learning all about the chair and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful answering our many questions.

My wife is very sick and we have to attend our kids graduation this Saturday which is going to be very tough. We will need to navigate over curbs, blacktop and grass. We were very nervous and did not know what would be best / safest. I was refereed to On The Mend by my wife's Physical Therapist. Marsi gave me a call, she is beyond positive, loving and helpful. She asked all the right questions and recommend the best product for our needs. My wife's safety was most important and she treated us like family. Not only was the service amazing, the price was very fair - bellow market value and she even discounted the shipping. These are tough situations for the handicap and very scary for the patient and caretaker. I am so happy I called On the Mend and cant thank Marsi enough. Thank you!!!!

And my medical recliner has saved my life there was no way I would be able to recover in my normal recliner. My wife broke her hip while skiing. Post surgery and back home I knew I needed a wheelchair and some good advice. I found the four people I spoke with at On the Mend helpful while they educated me on what I could do to provide care and assistance to my wife. They helped me load stuff into my car, came to my house to evaluate accessibility, always helpful. Great team, A+.

The people delivering were so fast and cautious of the building and the apt and showed me how everything worked.
If you are wondering if you may need a recliner for recovery, just get it. It really speeds up the recovery process with ease.

My elderly father forgot the attachments to his oxygen machine over his Thanksgiving visit from upstate. We realized -- after hours -- that he'd left them home. We contacted "On the Mend", and as expected given the hour, the call went to voicemail. I tried the alternate number on the message and Liam, the owner, picked up. He offered to meet me at the Mt. Kisco location -- an hour away from where he was enjoying a pre-Thanksgiving gathering -- to meet me to open up the store in order to provide the necessary parts to my father. It was the most compassionate customer service I've ever received. Liam was friendly, gracious and clearly put his consumer (a stranger no less) ahead of his own plans. I actually couldn't believe the lengths to which he went to help us. Liam's kindness and approach made an enduring impression, and saved the holiday for all of us.

Everyone there is exceptionally kind and wonderful! They go above and beyond to help. We were in a pinch looking for some medical supplies for my dad and I had called around to so many places that either didn’t have what we needed or were not particularly helpful. The people at On the Mend not only completely checked out and shared what they had but shared so many specifics that were so helpful. This is important when you’re learning about how to care for somebody who is very ill and there is a bit of a learning curve. My family is so thankful. Seriously, above and beyond!

Amazing service. The sales rep spent an hour with my mother and me making sure we chose just the right recliner for her and was patient with me after I had already paid when I called to say we had changed our mind about the fabric. We were sent suggestions on a slip cover and the guys who delivered the chair also couldn't have been nicer or more professional. I have been in touch with quite a few merchants searching for this special chair and none were quite as wonderful as the staff at On the Mend.

Liam and his staff at On The Mend are fantastic. Nobody can anticipate all of the needs of an ailing parent when they first return home. Sometimes timetables and dates can change at a moments notice. Liam and crew bent over backwards to make sure everything was in place, set up and working properly. The service and accessibility was truly outstanding, even including a visit to the rehab facility to take body measurements of my father. If there was an issue, he or his staff promptly came over and made the adjustments so my father was accomodated to his full satisfactionj. I recommend this store to anyone who finds themselves thrust into a home care situation. Getting you set up with the right equipment that is properly sized from On The Mend will help alleviate the inherent stresses of caring for and worrying about an infirmed loved one. I have used them for several needs for my mom over the last few months and every time I call I feel like family is helping me with my current needs! Simply outstanding! Christine at the Mt. Kisco store was very helpful, informative and responsive by phone, with good follow up - just what I needed getting help with my immediate needs. For delivery, Colin and Brody called ahead to see if they could arrive a bit earlier than scheduled and were careful, courteous and efficient; they shifted a large piece of furniture for me, set up, checked and adjusted equipment to confirm it was working properly, reviewed operation with me, and were cleaned up and out in just 10 minutes. I had visited and shopped at the store a few years ago and will continue to support OntheMove based on my positive experiences.
