Blimeys British Store & Gift Shop

Absolutely love this shop! My wife and I have been doing our Christmas shopping here for years. Carl, Rita and Mark are a pleasure to work with and there is always an amazing selection of unique curated clothes and items to choose from. It’s a super fun place to visit!

As an Englishman in New York, I mean Essex County, I love and appreciate this store more than I can express in a review. Lovely staff, beautiful location and an overflowing store of the highest quality goods you'll find for miles around.

Most of all I love shopping for the sweets and crisps and biscuits and chocolate from back home. I'll be in soon for some more fruit shorties please! Thank you Blimeys and God bless you all!

Love this place. Full of beautifully crafted clothing shoes and handbags. Lots of unique jewelry , greeting cards, kids' gifts, hand painted teacups and mugs. And then there is all the food.!!! So many unique finds in one place. Really enjoyed the staff as well. I visit every time I make a trip to Essex County.

I always love coming here to Blimeys. This is my first visit since they moved. I am Impressed with the location with the War Memorial. I'll admit, I did draw a tear looking at the biscuits and tea on the shelf, as I still miss My Home Country (England, United Kingdom).

I bought my First Union Jack Flag from here today, since being in Canada.

It's always an occasion to visit Blimeys.

I also brought my English Jag which I brought with me to Canada. Enjoyed my day out here. Essex is also a pretty town, and I don't remember the last time I visited Essex.

Awesome store for the real thing from overseas. From the clothing to the general merchandise to the treats everything is fantastic. Still like the Harrow location before they moved, but this location has the store well laid out. Staff is very helpful and always a pleasure to deal with.

Love these little shops.unique gift ideas. Food stuff that can only be bought here. Shop owners so helpful. I like that they gave their own personal opinion.

This store is truly one of a kind. The customer service is beyond belief. I was helped with selecting a jacket by an incredibly nice staff member, who took the time to explain the differences in the various jackets. Blimeys has a very large selection of British products and it is just plain nice to shop there 😀

It's like being at home if you are English. Its like being in a Shop in Rural England, same sort of feel when you see the cornish pasties and English Foods and Confectionary. A comfort for the homesick Englishman.

I don't often go to Harrow but if I do I most definitely make sure that I go to this beautiful store the owners Carl and Rita are so nice!
I'm originally from Manchester England and when I go here it just makes me feel at home the quality and selection is second to none.
My friends purchased beautiful leather satchel from here for me a few months back and in one of the sections inside the bag the stitching started to come undone. They called the manufacturer and less than a week later they called me to say they are replacing the bag for me 🙂...great service, thank you very much Carl & Rita

Awesome small locally owned gift shop. The sell a rather large and unique range of things all from the UK or UK inspired. You will find Dr. Who and the Beatles. The Union Jack and imported tea. They also have a bunch of imported snacks and food items. One tip, in the back there's a fridge and on it your can get things like fresh baked Scotch Pies and bread pudding.

Great place, love everything in there and staff is helpful. Just know that everything will be expensive since it's all imported and of high quality

My favourite store to get all my British snacks :D I drive out to here from Windsor, always come home with a bag full of goodies. One of the things I miss most since moving away from London, UK last year is our great selection of snacks, so this keeps me happy!

Great place to get British gifts and/or clothing. Plus a variety of different foods and sundries that are from Britain. Gift certificates available too.

Great selection. We wanted mince pies for christmas but they had to be Mr Kipling mince pies and they had them plus a good selection of other Mr Kipling items. Mostly stock all you need for British items,except no Birds trifle. Overall good experience apart from the fact that the guy serving is a Manchester United fan and we are all die hard Liverpool fans. YNWA

Didn't walk out with empty hands. Jayne found a new purse with matching gloves and I found meat pie. We both left happy and are sure to go back. The owners' son , Mark, was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable

This cute little store is totally worth the drive to Harrow! Great selection, reasonable prices, and lovely shop owners! Was thrilled to see so many home favourites in stock. Will definitely be back!
