Foodland - Essex

Foodland is great! Very clean and lots of great produce. Love that they have paper bags here, and oven 360!!

I really love this location, the staff are always wonderful. It is a little high on the price scale. However, they have a wide selection of fruits, veggies, desserts and fresh baked foods etc.

I can not express enough thank you’s for the help I received from the girl in the deli. Ordered a wrap tray. I wishI could remember her name. She was so helpful polite and even offered to deliver the platter for a funeral if needed when i was having trouble getting there to pick it up Just want to give her a big shout out for her kindness compassion and her overall customer service. Thank you.l!

Clerks were very helpful. Said it wasn't their idea not to bag our groceries in our reusable bags

Clerks are extremely helpful, especially Lindsey, in the meat department.
Another great shopping experience with lits of choices. Like every place else, the prices have gone up.

Great selection and fresh fruit!

This is my go-to restaurant in Essex for all my grocery shopping. I just find the selection a little better with fresher produce and other items. The service is really good. The staff are very friendly

I really like the old fashioned style of this grocery store. It felt more "home style" and comfortable than a lot of amenities nowadays that are very "sterile" for lack of a better term. Sure it may be a bit smaller in terms of floor and aisle space but they still had everything I could want, even though I only went in for one or two things. They even have a small section of specialty British groceries.

Clean, good service

Will transport you to an earlier time of friendly knowledgeable service, where you didn't need to wear your hiking shoes to buy bread. Join in on the whimsy and help an old lady reach something on a high shelf to fully enjoy shopping as it once was. Well worth the drive!

Dropped in for a couple of items, they had everything I was looking for. Staff was very helpful and friendly. First time stopping at this location, largest Foodland I've been to. Fantastic selection of fresh meat, steaks, chips etc. It's a little further from home but I plan on going there again for full groceries. Very impressive!

24-hour grocery store in small-town Essex County. Friendly people, reasonable prices, great selection. Nice and clean. The only place I can get these microwaveable pot pies that I crave at night sometimes.

I went there recently with my family, the service was great starting with the owner cleaning our cart off!!! The seletion was awesome! Esspecially for gluten free options. This store is a 10/10!!

Great food, excellent service and extremely clean. Ray and his sister are awesome! Can't wait to go back and have the ribs. Wings, ceasar salad and French onion soup. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
