Half Price Books

They have such a nice collection of vinyl, and cd's (all alphabetically and genre-organized). The books are all affordable, and the staff are so kind to help find any genre or book you are looking for. Absolutely loved coming here especially for it being my first time. 😊🤍

I have been looking for a very specific book for a little while now, so I was happy to take a 30 minute detour on the way home so we could visit this store.
I was very pleased with the selection available and the layout of the store. The kid corner was very well done and perfect for the kids to browse while I looked around.
After searching almost the whole store and not finding what I wanted, I wandered to the "Collection" shelf to browse. There was the exact book I was hoping to find!
While I know the book is in high demand right now, I still wish "Half Priced Books" would have charged a little less for the used book. However, I paid what they were asking for it, so I guess that is really on me.
I was very happy with my visit, though!

We love this bookstore. Full of all genres and topics. A nice kids section, games and trade in area. Music, records and audio tracks too. Their corner clearance is my favorite. The books are nicely priced and we always stop in when we’re in South Tyler.

They have a great selection of books. We are from out of state and decided to visit this location. We are glad we did. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

We just stopped to look and several hours later left with a few bags, LOL!!! Very nice employees and very nice "used" books and CDs!!! Will definitely go back!!!!😊

They had tons of books! Reasonably priced. Looking for old vinyl records? They have that, too! Great place.

Always great each time I go in. I always find something new. I don’t always find what I am looking for which is to be expected. Nevertheless I usually always leave with one to two books. The staff is always very helpful as well.

Very well-organized. I was looking for a book on critical thinking they had a couple. However, not the ones I was looking for. The staff were friendly and offered to look up the books and order them into the store for me

A great way to spend the day. Never get tired of having a book in my hand. Great places. Wonderful store. Staff is do helpful. Not too crowded. Almost perfect. I just can't afford every book I want. But I am in heaven in here.

Couldn't find what I was looking for, but Jennifer was great assisting me, and even checked the availability of what I was looking for in the on-line store. It felt nice to have someone go that extra mile for me, when normally I wouldn't receive more than a "sorry, it's not in stock at the moment ". One of the best trips to Half Price Books I have had in a long time, at any location.

I don't like how they stopped giving plastic bags when u leave. So bring a bag. They have reusable bags you can buy there. Overall, I love this store. Large variety. They even have games and stuff for babies and kids. Check out their clearance.

This is one of my absolute favorite places!!! They have a great selection. From my personal favorite, books, to records, cds, movies, and games. You can even bring your books and get a quote to sell them. I wish they had more seating, but that's not a complaint, just preference. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a not so common title or author.

I really enjoy going to this location. Quite often there are some excellent finds. The quality of the books are exceptional and the pricing as you can already quess is 1/2 the original book price. There is a nice turnover of books so inventory is not stale. The staff has always been helpful and attentive. I highly recommend giving them a try.
If you're into collectibles they do have collector's books, movies and other interesting items.

I love this place! Went there to find some Edgar Allen Poe books and sure enough the exact same ones I first found back in 2018. Not only that but their prices on books are amazing!! Will surely be coming back to collect more stuff!

I liked the atmospheric nature of this treasure trove of used books that offer a lot of reuse. Will make the two hour drive there again

So happy to find this place! My husband and I work all over the USA - and most bookstores have disappeared. The books are well organized, and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.
