As someone who loves to shop local but sometimes doesn’t know where to start- this place is PERFECTION. 25 different local Alaskan vendors, put into seven different rooms.
one of the rooms used to be used as the first bank in the valley …. Even with a coffee bar? FREE coffee bar? Truly so kind and so good. Cannot believe I didn’t know this was in my town since March! I’m 😻

I personally do not know of HIGHER quality, better skilled Alaskan artisans and authors. If you haven't been in SINCE the vault was renovated and opened to include "vault vendors", you haven't seen the coolest part of the store

The Peak Outpost is a wonderful store in a historic bank building in Palmer, Alaska. They have a wide variety of beautifully crafted Alaskan made items. My husband found many items that appealed to him (handmade fishing poles, knives pocket watches and artist designed men's T-Shirts, wooden fly boxes, etc. I loved the original designed AK T-shirts. They had beautiful knitted hats, live edge wood frames, birdhouses, pottery, hand spun yarn and roving from the owner's own sheep, etc. It is well worth a stop while in Palmer.

I have been in on a couple of occasion's and have loved watching the transformation take place. Such beautiful products by local vendors and of course my personal favorite is Peak Apparel! The staff is friendly and helpful, the store is clean, tidy and well organized. The only down side is I no longer live close , however, I am sure my bank account is very happy with that situation.

The whole store is filled with such wonderful pieces of all different kinds. They have adorable felted animals, beautiful earrings, great T-shirts and sweatshirts, beautiful blades and so much more. We bought a beautiful hatchet. Great place to buy gifts for both men and women.

Such a cute store with amazingly unique items. You will for sure find something you need for your self or that hard to shop for person in your life.

This was SUCH a cute shop! I could have spent a lot more time here. So many unique and interesting Alaska made items. From cards, to amazing Alaskan photography, felted art, woodwork, pottery, jewelry, clothing, also information on local classes offered including felting and making fishing poles! I am just scratching the surface. So much to see here. Don’t miss it! I hope to go back sometime soon!

On my first visit I met the owner and asked if this was a bank. Yes and she showed me the bank vault that is historic and displays merchandise. Peak Outpost is the home of a local clothing line and has LOCAL artists’s photography, ceramics, cards, a large offering of Alaskan gifts for tourists as well as fellow Alaskans! The man selling photographs, the sales assist and the owner are knowledgeable of their merchandise, friendly and fun to chat with - I will definitely return 👍🏻

I love that The Peak Outpost has vendors that sell their own creations and also vendors that sell only Alaskan made products. It is a great shop if you are looking for a unique gift for yourself or a loved one. I love my Peak Apparel sweatshirt. I wear it all the time.

What a hidden treasure! I learned during my fist visit that this gallery/gift store, with nearly 4,500 Square feet has something for everyone. Dozens of local artists are represented and every piece is thoughtfully and beautifully displayed. I definitely recommend “The Peak Outpost”.

What a delightful shop filled with Alaska-made items. There are so many amazing handmade artists/authors' items for sale. This store is absolutely incredible and a great addition to the Palmer community!

The Peak Outpost is the most awesome Alaska shop I’ve ever been to! I bought a beautiful forget-me-not metal work artpiece and the artist walked in!! I got to meet her and take a picture with her! You have to come shop!!!!!!

This is such a great place to shop, so many endless options that you can't find at other stores! Plus Peak Apparel clothing has cool designs and is so comfortable to wear.
