Always great sales, especially when they offer extra coupons. Make me very happy and helps our family save a lot of money! Produce sometimes is hit and best but typically they have a good selection. The store has quite a bit to offer between grocery, home goods, and clothing.

I love Fred Meyers for their cakes and their selection of meat. The staff is very minimal and I've never really had to deal with them except for at the service desk and usually the service desk requires you to wait an excessive amount of time and I believe they should have more folks helping at the service desk.

We ordered a custom cake and the staff were very helpful trying to make the order what we wanted. The day before the pick up I received a phone call from the baker who made sure that the details of the cake were correct. The baker added a few details that we didn’t expect which were great. I greatly recommend custom cakes from the Fred Meyer bakery.

Great prices, friendly staff and cashiers. I will say their delivery service here in Palmer Alaska is a little low quality. They utilize Instacart and if you have any issues with your orders from Instacart it gets very difficult to get it handled quickly and promptly. Instacart although helpful, is very random on who shops for you and I'm not sure how they screen who shops for you. Also, twice now my credit card has been used just before my grocery order was delivered, my card was charged for gas at the Fred Meyer gas station in Palmer. It was a total of 4.00 each time, and I am STILL waiting to hear back on this issue. Also, Instacart shoppers, most, do not like to reply to real time text messages. It's frustrating when trying to make sure all in my order is correct. In-store shopping is great for Fred Meyer of Palmer Alaska. Unless you're totally unable to get to the store, I would stear clear of their delivery service!

The produce department is the best! Also the employees in this department are always nice and will always go above and beyond to help. Even if it’s not their department.

This store in Palmer is great. A one stop-find it all kinda place. Your first stop should be the coffee shop if you like fresh brewed like me n my lover do. I noticed they even serve breakfast things there, i think it's better then McD's myself. I've had fresh sushi, fresh bread, fast foods of all sorts. I love to get my lunch foods here. My last stop there, I found what I needed in automotive believe it or not. On my way out of the store I noticed that they even have a drive through pharmacy lol. Yeppers, Do it all rite here, incredible! It's always a great stop. I recommend using this store over all others here in Palmer. I love this place.. the one thing I did notice is the attitude the associate have the at check out- poor bunch of crabby ppl I swear. They stare at us like we're criminals n rush us out n get all crabby on us really fast, like we need to be told how to do things. I really don't appreciate that at all when we spend over 400 bucks a month's there, we should get generous treatment. Perhaps a "hello" and maybe a smile to say "did you find everything ok?" How about " thanks for shopping at Freddie's"..just saying. These associates suk in that department.

They had most of what I was looking for. Many items are less expensive than Walmart.

This is my neighborhood shopping center, and I won't shop anywhere else, but...they did the dreaded aisles rearranging. I hate that. I don't mind all the other rearranging but PLEASE!, leave the nutrition items alone. Mixing them in with the rest of the store makes me feel devalued, invisible, and unwanted. The only reason I can see for doing this is pressure from the brands that are being ignored by people who prefer organic foods, which is substantial. Too bad for them. They need to up their quality game if they want my dollar.

The app is overwhelmingly complex when it works, with a password problem that I can't overcome. Same thing as applying for a job. The employees are great and inviting, inside, a great bizarre, replacing the hardware store and Mom and Pops filled with irresistible, destined for the dump. Lowe's knows the value of a couple of old-fashioned electrical fuses, 20 bucks for two, about five bucks at Fred Meyer for the same thing. I wish I could buy that $1,000 10-in memory foam mattress in the Box, I live in a cabin with a dog. That's just to get the mattress and who knows what follows before you get started. I grew up on Safeway and I really miss Carrs before Safeway bought their property and quit renting. AG got the remnants and collapsed, something that I'm concerned about when Kroger buys the Carrs property that Safeway bought. I'm used to the roller coaster of prices across the street, I'm low budget so I buy low, everyday low prices are higher for me. And if Kroger borrows the money to buy Albertsons and Safeway in the car's building across the street disappears, inventories on hand when the disaster hits will be reduced and the inherent savings, all be plowed into interest payments and dividends, surely prices will be set by few hands reaching into the jar. All a pretty bizarre situation, just like everything else these days. I love everybody there, it's a love-hate situation, nothing personal, it's easier for me across the street, with Specialties over here. I really like the Personnel at the deli and the front desk. Everybody moves with urgency, all happily smiling. If you shop at both stores, forget a dollar off on a gallon of gasoline, $35 in savings for 100 points. How can you split that between the stores? I can't, my Crowley 55 gallon $40 drum times several are ready for the winter emergency to run the generator and save me $35 on 35 gallons, the most I paid was $2.85 a gallon, $2.65 times a 70 gallons before that, I don't use much gasoline, get snowed in for the winter, and those Crowley 55 gallon drums of fuel oil are more than enough, I delivered in my truck to myself from wherever I want. Then I have two barrels for gasoline. Part of my savings strategy. It's complicated. 10 points can get you $15 off on your checkout ticket or $35 off at the gas pump. My freezer is for my tanks are full now it's not the time to go shopping. When I need gas I'll go. I'll buy milk and stuff like that, the creamers in the freezer and I won't buy hardly anything until next month, so that I can buy it and get the points rather than spread it out. It's complicated, and it's all done with coupons the Fred Meyer app has too many coupons and doesn't know me offering me special Bargains nobody else is offered knowing I'll buy out the Shelf if they're trying to empty. Something like that Dynamic pricing. Those who shoplift pay the most. That's one thing I like about Fred Meyer is the intelligent security system and nobody loitering in front. I refuse to walk into Walmart, I did a survey and indeed, everything was $1 more, and you had to crawl on your knees if you wanted low prices, all on the bottom shelf. What's not to love? It's complicated. I pray success for both stores. Mom and Pops is already closed down and will never come back again.

Anna the florist in Fred Meyers saved the day! She listened to my horrendous story after ordering flowers from Avas online floral store. I had paid extra money to have flowers sent to my daughter before one o'clock. She and her husband were just celebrating giving birth to her 1st child. I had called Avas floral To check the status of the order and found to my horror that they hadn't even Begun to process the order with a local florist yet. I did go to the local florist to pick up the flowers but when I got there they didn't have the picture that my husband and I had stayed up the night before ordering.Nor did the local Florist have hardly any flowers to choose from in the store.I was appalled at the arrangement that she called a special arrangement that I had paid over $80 4.So then I passed by Palmer Fred Meyers and called Ana on the phone. She was cheery and upbeat and when I got there she invited me in to the cooler with a fresh flowers were and together we chose the flowers. She and I arranged the flowers together and the travesty turned into an adventure! I was so delighted! My daughter's Arrangement even included lilies! Thank you again Anna from Fred Meyers in Palmer… You will be my go to person for floral arrangements in the Future!

The customer service was impeccable. I had several staff members ask if they could help me finding anything. Tana came by after overhearing some of my dietary restrictions. She took the time to walk me to different isles and find what I need. Not only that, she read the ingredients for me because I didn't have my reading glasses with me. My husband and I were pleased to have such great service!

Wow!! Coming from the Midwest we hardly have stores with everything in it. From food to furniture it’s unbelievable. Store looked clean and there was everything you need. It’s a true 1 stop store. Definitely recommended. Will shop there again.
