Sutton General Store & Jonesville Cafe & Java

Was referred here by the cashier at Fischers hilltop. One of the best pizzas we've had in a long time! Open year round, 11AM-8PM.

We stopped for food after a couple days camping and four wheeling. Small diner with one of the best burgers I’ve had! The fries were super fresh and delicious! Very clean! The best part about this stop was that they have espresso!!! Absolutely recommend everyone to stop here and say hi and grab a burger and coffee.
They have a simple yet stocked store for all your basic needs as well. A great stop before you head north to get your supplies.

we have been there many times and we love the place great food, and if you dont want to go all the way out to palmer to go to the store they have everything you will need.

Wonderful restaurant in Sutton with delicious food, kind and caring service, and great prices. Nancy, the owner, makes THE BEST pie we’ve had in decades. We had cherry pie tonight that brought me back to the 1980s. The crust was so tender flaky and delicious in all the right ways.

Tonight our server and cook was Eli. He was fantastic! For dinner we ate patty melts that were perfectly toasted and melted. The onions were grilled and caramelized, the cheese was Swiss on one side and American on the other which complimented the beef and rye bread perfectly.

We’ve come here 3-4 times before and are always very pleased with our meal and kind servers.

Hands down, the best food I’ve ever eaten. Great atmosphere and staff!

What the place lacks in atmosphere, it makes up for in cooking and service. Great burgers. Nothing fancy, but good.

The staff are always welcoming and helpful. Even other customers are very friendly. You can buy postcards, candy, soda, energy drinks, chips, and even diapers! They have a cafe on one side. I usually see an old dog running around. Nice shop to stop at when you've been on the road for a while.

Best hamburgers for 50 miles! Home town atmosphere. Staff acts more like family than employees!

Great Food and fuel stop on your way to the Matanuska Glacier or beyond from Palmer on the Glenn highway. It's the last great spot you'll find for at least 3 or 4 hours on your journey out of the Valley.

Little local shop and cafe. Great food and great people, I eat here almost once a week! Has all the essentials of you need something on the fly, good selection of snacks and drinks!

Sat on the porch and enjoyed our ice cream on a hot day. The ladies there were super nice.

Perfect little stop heading north towards Chickaloon to get some snacks/drinks and or ice-cream or a bite to eat before you get back on the highway.

The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and Sutton locals who know a lot about the area and history of the town of Sutton.
