This the place to go if you need new running shoes. I've mostly been wearing Asics on Thanksgiving morning for the past 23 years but it was time for something new. My 12 year old Asics were getting tired so I went in here in August the day before running the RiMaConn and Ashley hooked me up with my first pair of Topos. What a difference these made. She scanned my foot and had me try a few different shoes before deciding and I'm confident we found the right shoe for me. I went from being a reluctant infrequent runner to when's the next 5k but I'll sign up for the 10 instead. Thanks again

Great little store with a decent selection. Employees are very knowledgeable when it comes to running shoes and can help you find a shoe that fits your running style. They even showed me a couple of gels that are working great on longer runs. I drove all the way from Simsbury to shop here and will definitely come back.

I went in just to window shop. Karen helped me out with measuring my feet and gave such an excellent recommendation that I walked away with a new pair of shoes! Amazing service and such a nice place. I'll definitely come back soon!

I bought two pairs of running shoes today. Alexander was the representative that helped me. When I entered he noticed me but was occupied with another customer and said other reps were busy but they would help me once they were free. Two sets of customers entered after me and as soon as the reps got free they started working with them. Alex noted this and was quick to make sure I was being attended to. He was juggling multiple customers at the same time. I liked how he wasn't trying to sell a specific shoe but the type of shoe I was looking for. He was very well informed. Give that kid a raise.

My podiatrist recommended your store. I have custom orthotics and needed to find the right shoe for my feet. Everyone was super helpful! I also get my socks there. I really like Feetures socks. Same price as Amazon and with the personal service that makes it worth the trip from Vernon!

I had a great experience with my mom at sound runner this weekend. I purchased hokas online for her & they did not fit her correctly. I returned them & decided to check this store out for the 1st time. We worked with Julie & she spent over an hour with us to pick out the correct sneakers. I would highly recommend going here instead of ordering online.

Staff is great. Worked with me to find the right shoe. Selection was good. I love the policy that if the shoe you want isn’t in stock they will ship to your home for free. Also love Hoka’s 30 day return policy. Best shoes I have ever owned. Bringing two friends next week to check out the Hoka line.

Best running shoe store, I've been to. I received much more than I expected. Staff was very knowledgeable, they made suggestions but did not try to upsell anything I didn't need.

They introduced me to the best running shoes I have ever had, Altra's. I have wide feet and have tried various brands and in the past have had to buy 2 or 3 pair of a type of shoes that sort of fit me but not really but are better than most shoes I've bought. Not anymore.

The first time I came in I was mid-run and I think they had only been open for a few months. I told them what I had going on (wide feet and hammer toe) and they watched me walk and I think they brought out two brands of shoes. I can't remember what the first brand was but it doesn't matter. The instant the Altra's were put on my feet I knew they were it. Literally. It was probably one of the top 5 aha moments I've had in my life. The difference in how I run and how I feel after a run changed that day. My sons have similarly wide feet and we get shoes for them at Sound Runners and I don't regret the little extra cost because I know the shoes fit properly and they won't have to live with uncomfortable shoes like I did growing up since they did not make sneakers like they do now and you don't find people like you do at Sound Runners making sure you have shoes that fit and are comfortable.

I generally get some inserts as well and have bought like 4 or 5 sets of inserts for other shoes like my work shoes and don't really think about my feet anymore.

Great place... staff is very knowledgeable. number one priority is customer service and getting you fit for a great shoe. I had Debbie for a Shoe fitting and she was so great,and knew exactly what I needed after taking the time and asking me some questions..

The staff and running shoe selections are great. I like how the staff not only analyzed my gait, they also used other techniques to get me into the right shoe, right fit. The person helping me had me try a few shoes. The Mizunos worked best and I'm wearing them on all of my daily runs. Thanks Sound Runner!

I have been looking for new shoes for running. I came upon this place while searching through a third party website. When I arrived Nick attended to my every need. I left with a different pair of shoes but thanks to him, I was able to find the best fit. Visit them ASAP!

Best running shoe store in New England. Only one recommend to the teams. They have been pivitol in my recovery process in their expert advice in shoes and after running products Unlike other places who are about just profits, they are about good running lifestyles.
