Gristedes

Gristedes is great for mainstream food. Standard things like bread, mainstream cheeses, various kinds of mainstream meats, and preserves meats, various mainstream pastries. Gristedes might not always be the cheapest place, but it's not super expensive either, and there's rarely much of a line I find. Lots of fresh vegetables, frozen food, decent sized deli section, with prepared fresh meals. One thing I would like to see would be more foods with the calories information provided. Some of the prepared meals have this information, but many of them do not, and many of the delicious pastries, cakes and breads also do not.

The place is big and kind of like a maze, which I like. Everything is actually super easy to find if you just give a quick look! A lot of variety in vegan and regular foods! The lady at the register that was there when I went was really sweet too

I find staff friendly. I was there when llli popovic was there and she was rude as can be . The cashier AND manager not only gave her a discount but held the line up to count the cashiers till.manager again counted the till to show her and still correct change in till. Well based off your comments popovic and I hope you read this it seems like you like to judge and start trouble. This review was about the store base off facts not lies. Tell the truth next time.

Managment is great everyone is friendly and are quick to help the customers, we may have Customers who are very pleasant and others who was not people friendly. However Gristedes aims to please and keep their Customers happy at all times.
