Son Cubano Restaurant on the Hudson

This restaurant is amazing. Went for brunch with a friend. The food, atmosphere, and service is top tier. From the moment you walk in you are catered to with kindness. Our waitress Natalia (I believe her name was) was so caring and friendly when it came to recommendations from the menu. The establishment is in the perfect location right by the water with views of New York City. The food presentation and taste were well presented and delicious. Definitely would highly recommend this place.

(11/18/23) The setting and atmosphere are incredibly attractive and visually appealing. My wife’s cousin and us met up for dinner, but we got there before them. At the bar, we took a seat and ordered a drink. The bartenders, along with the security staff, showed us great hospitality, kindness, and helpfulness. Our table was near the window and the view was breathtaking. The food was delicious and the server provided great service. We had a great night and found everything to be very pleasant. While some may find it expensive, I believe you’re paying for the complete glamorous experience, the high-quality ambiance and cuisine, the prompt and friendly service (although the hostess area could be improved), your safety, and above all, the prime location. Overall, it was a nice experience.

I had an even at Son Cubano and it was a success, my guests were extremely happy and satisfied. The food, the service, and the ambiance were excellent!!! When I started looking for a place to celebrate my birthday I reached out to many places but something that stood out to me was Amy's willingness to work with me and meet my needs. From the beginning to the end, she was so caring and detailed, I was shocked when I saw the sunflowers on my tables (she heard when I said those are my favorite flowers). She did everything with excellence. Barbara the attendant was amazing in serving us, she even made sure I had a space for my gifts and a box for my cards, and the bathroom attendant Andrew was such a gentleman. These are the details that make a party so special and memorable.

This was the most fun restaurant I have ever dined/celebrated at. We (13 of us) went here to celebrate my wife's birthday and it was a blast. The food was awesome, the drinks were great, our server was attentive and fun and the ambience was spectacular. My wife and our group really enjoyed our night here. The DJ was super spectacular. We didn't leave the restaurant till almost 2AM. Our group was of Caribbean background and the DJ entertained us highly.... other people who we had no affiliation with joined our party/dancing and overall we had so much fun. I definitely will recommend others to come here to enjoy the great experience of the food and people.
The only drawback we had was that, it took a while for us to get seated, but given the size of our group it was understandable on a busy Saturday night. Outside of that, Son Cubano is very highly recommended

The server Nick was very professional, friendly, and helpful. The food and drinks were very good and definitely worth the price. We got the Paella and it was super fresh and delicious, served 3.

Overall great experience, food was amazing, we tried the Ceviche Mixto and the pulpo for appetizers and paired it with a sizzling red wine, delicioso.. Our entrees were exquisite from the lobster spaghetti, to the thick churrasco to a nicely cooked pink salmon. Our server Daniel H recommendations were on point. Amazing dinner choices with NYC city skyline views. This is perfect for date night with your loved one.

Son Cubano was the perfect spot for capturing Edwaliz and Adrian's engagement shoot, it was everything we hoped it would be!

The views? breathtaking. The staff? super helpful and accommodating , making sure every shot was on point. And the food ? beyond satisfying.

If you're looking for a spot to capture aesthetically pleasing engagement photos, Son Cubano is where it's at. Trust me, you won't regret it!

I had the most juiciest and flavorful porkchop that I ever had in my life at this place. The ambiance is beautiful and the food is delicious. A little pricey but definitely worth it, great for special occasions.

This place offers a fine dining experience that is complemented by the breathtaking views. The food is great. The staff is attentive and courteous. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion (Be warned that it is a very common spot for people proposing in front of the skyline 🏙 😊) or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, this restaurant has a lot to offer.

Everything was absolutely fantastic. Our food was great. Drinks were amazing, but service topped it all. Our server Jose was extremely pleasant, professional, attentive, knowledgeable and just outright phenomenal. The location is perfect for any event, and right outside you have the most amazing views of NYC. Will definitely be back. The ONLY suggestion I have is, demand a dress code. As beautiful and presentable as this place is, people shouldn’t be walking in with sneakers or jean shorts. I think its time we bring classy outings back. Thank you for having us!

We had an amazing dinner! Everyone in our 6 person dinner party enjoy their dinner and said they would be back. I can't wait to experience this lovely restaurant in the summer.

Wonderful restaurante on the opposite shores of Manhattan. Well-prepared food and very attentive service. Highly recommended.

David Burke never disappoints. All the creativity and expertise of his culinary skills still stand out while his whimsical aesthetic makes this a magical experience! I’ve never been disappointed in his restaurants and and am so impressed with this one.

Zory is awesome 🤩 The real club was inside the ladies room, they really need to hire this girl to DJ.
Food was really good, decor was beautiful. They slap on an automatic 18% gratuity (uncalled for.)
Overall, I would recommend the place and would go back.

Jose was amazing, attention to details. Very polite and proper. Everyone from the hostes to the guys and girls retrieving our dishes.... definitely will be back for another special occasion....

We had a Very nice Easter lunch there at the spur of the moment! It was wonderful! The presentation of the food was fabulous and tasted unbelievable!!! Great view of Manhattan! The service was outstanding! Can't wait to enjoy another meal here again soon! I had the snapper and it was outstanding as the other entrees were.
