Morton Williams has brilliantly become the go to supermarket company that caters to the folks on the upper east side! They provide an excellent selection of everything we need and one of their stores is even open 24 hours! While some of their prices might seem a little higher, they also pay much more in rent than stores in the suburbs!

Every time I shop at the first ave Morton Williams, I am greeted and treated with great service. The employees are always looking to go out of their way to assist customers and create the easiest shopping experience possible.

The deli specifically is what sets this place apart. They offer good premade meals and the selection of other types of food is large and they all taste good. I've found the cakes and other desserts to be quite tasty. The prices are decent as well. The produce has always been good and the selection is fairly large. So other than the deli and produce the store is average, limited selection but of course given it's location it's not very big so no reason to go in expecting much. It'll have the basics though.

I want to talk about the Deli- and specifically the Manager, Darlene. Due to staffing issues I no longer have any time to prepare food for the events at the hospital, NY Presbyterian. Darlene always helps get the order in the system correctly and the turkey this last Thanksgiving was great. It was delivered to my front door packed and ready to be moved to the hospital. The Staff loved it-as it was cooked perfectly. I would also mention the the Mac and Cheese is a favorite always. I know there are lots of people involved, but it starts with Darlene.

Great selections, fresh meats and produce, and if cooking isn't your thing... the hot bar always have a variety of prepared dishes and options to choose from.

A bit pricey ,but stuff are fresh and available. I particularly love the hot food bar where you can always get a ready made meal of your choice.

What a beautiful and organized place this is my people!!! Everything incredibly organized and clean.

My family has been doing our food shopping at Morton's for many years. The workers are really helpful, and knowledgeable about where the food items are. The professionalism and the quality of work is incredible. The cleanliness of the store is always amazing. The display cooler of the Deli Meats, is always clean and smells fresh. The Meat Dept;, workers are such nice people, the Meats always have a fresh look, and smell. I highly recommend Morton's, great family Supermarket.

Cute little neighborhood grocery store that stocks many of your basic items and hot food. Try their omelets and their home fries. Great start for a good hardy breakfast. Stayed in New York for a week and went there every morning for my breakfast and any item I needed while there. Prices are reasonable for New York.

With the situation at hand it's running smoothly. The cashiers are doing an outstanding job as are the rest of the staff making sure that what items they do have are getting out to the shelves. Great job everyone

I love Morton Williams, I am lucky to have one just a block from my Apartment. Mine at the corner of 81st street is smaller then most of them, but the lay out is easy to get around and there selection is great. I go to all of them; 72nd Street and 1st Ave, 68th street and 3rd Ave, 72nd Street and 3 Ave, 7th Ave between 6th and 7th Avenues, when ever I am in the area of one of them. I Love to see what they may have, that I missed when looking in the store near me

I really love going to this Morton Williams I always find what I need and the meats and vegetables are always nice and fresh and I like that they have pre cut veggies and fruits.

Busy little grocery store in the heart of NY, very convenient, lots of pre made meals, people are friendly, within walking distance from our hotel, has just about everything you might need and open 24 hours

I am an Indian citizen and was visiting NYC for my honeymoon... I happened to lose my wallet 4 hours before my flight back home.. and i had given up all hope to find it, even the police refused to help me lodge a complaint for a missing wallet.. i left the US with a very heavy heart as this was the wallet i had bought just before I began graduate school a couple of years ago...a month later I see the wallet sitting on my dinner table in india shipped from Morton Williams 1st Avenue 71st street.. my heart swelled up and i could not believe my eyes.. this gesture made me believe in the pureness of humanity and the fact that Morton Williams follows strong ethics and a beautiful work culture by always thinking of their customers... Thank you so much morton Williams.. I would really love to speak with the manager at morton Williams and personally thank them for this.. you guys are the best..

My favorite option for weekly groceries in the city, or if I want to pick up something quick. Best supermarket chain in Manhattan

Absolutely immaculate supermarket, a complete rarity for New York City, with good prices and very appealing arrays of fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, etc. You can even buy freshly-cooked food there and eat it on a counter beyond the cash registers. Salad bar, fish counter, Deli counter, Etc. They're constantly making the shelves look nice, and cleaning everything. Nothing more you could ask for in a supermarket. A really amazing place.

Open 24 hours a day, this is probably the most complete supermarket and source of prepared food in the immediate vicinity of Campus (unless you want to walk to 110th Street.) It is expensive but virtually everything is near Columbia. Fresh sushi and bread delivered daily and a reasonably good selection of sandwiches and meal combinations are available on demand. Eggs and breakfast food available in the morning as well.
