CTown Supermarkets

This CTown is my favorite local supermarket that is fortunately walking distance. It's a pretty big market that has a decent variety of goods.

I'm especially impressed with their cold cut and cheese selection.

Finally the folks here are extremely friendly and always helpful!

Excellent supermarket. If I had to describe it in one word, I’d say professional. All the staff was great, managers were actively on the floor and helpful, all the displays are beautiful. Oh, and another thing: it smelled great. From the fresh coffee at the entrance to the fresh bread and rolls at the deli, you smell great food around the whole place (with no unpleasant smells, like rotting food, or garbage). Well done!

Small but the whole place is packed with great groceries products.

Well-managed and a great shopping experience compared to most neighboring competitors. Always easy to bring up a problem or issue with a product. Good variety within a small space with relatively short lines at check out and deli counter.

They have everything you need and more whatever you looking for if they don't got it, they will get it, thats how they are.
Although I only hope if they change the guy in the fish department in the morning he is very mean wish they could get someone else.
Other than this store is perfect.

I love this place. A little pricey but so clean and such a great selection of produce and seafood (their mussels are always great quality). Meat section is above average also and their rotisserie chicken is amazing. They don't have chorizo at their deli which was hugely disappointing but I guess that isn't as common as I thought it was. I wish this place was closer to me I'd shop there every week.

love the branch near MOMA, never had a bad experience there. the manager is always visible and friendly.

Good variety of food, very good prices, relative to upscale market prices. Good place for produce in this neighborhood. Clean. Manager is thoroughly gentlemanly, great guy.

For people new to this part of Astoria, remember, you're in Astoria. This isn't Chelsea or Union Square. This isn't Whole Foods, thank goodness. Evaluate the biz for what it is, including where it is and who they're serving. And be respectful, of course.

A great supermarket with everything you need and more. They do a great job of bringing in lots of new brands and products to try, yet always have great quality and affordable every day items. Management is super helpful and always willing to go out of their way for customers.

Great staff, always well stocked, produce and seafood and deli are fresh. Clean, bright, organized. This C-Town serves its community well.

Have you ever watched the tv sitcom “Ten Items or Less”. That’s what it reminds me off. Friendly neighborhood supermarket. Always the same staff. The manager is present and always around, kind of like Lesley from the show. Big selection of international food too.

I’ve been in Astoria for a decade and I will die on the hill that believes ctown is far superior to keyfood. PERIOD! This ctown is no different and I’m happy I moved down to 34th Ave and am now in such close proximity. For the last 9 years I’ve shopped at the ctown on 28th Ave and do miss that location but admit this store is better. The produce is much fresher and there’s a better overall selection here. The cashiers are usually friendly here. I liked the manager at the other ctown but the guy managing here is a star in his own right. I haven’t had a direct convo with him but I always see him there dressed so impeccably well! I know he is well received by the community.

I am surprised how nice and the broad selection of products this CTown has. It is very clean, well stocked, and maintains a great variety of foods. Compared to when I lived in Brooklyn- this exceeded my expectations for this specific grocery.

This is the best supermarket in the neighborhood. Victor makes this market more than a market. If you want a sauce from Costa Rica they have it. If you want fresh fish they have it. If you want something and they do not currently stock it Victor will order for you that day and let you know when it will arrive. He makes the market! Victor is the best manager ever!

Great selection of REALLY FRESH fruits & veggies! They had everything we needed! The store was clean, easy to navigate and the employees were super nice and helpful!

I have seen many supermarket but this one is different. I felt like i was in a garden. Its clean fresh and also very nice people working here. This supermarket make me wish others were like it. They Carry American Pure Honey. Yes NATURAL FRESH Raw Local. Love it.

Best local supermarket in my hood. I go there everyday! Prices still affordable for us old Astoria natives and non-gentrifiers! Everything is fresh and clean but not overly pretentious. Victor, the owner is a real cool friendly guy.

This is a small but very well supplied supermarket. They have a wife selection of products.even internationals one. Costumer service is great. The manager is really nice and always making sure everything is perfect.

I have been going here 3 years! Best grocery in a 10 block radius. Always clean, and fully stocked
