McKay's

I shop at the Hollywood McKay's quite often. I enjoy going in there for several reasons. Selection is great and I can find the hard to find items that I'm not able to at other stores. Their displays are well done and always very neat. The best part of shopping there though is the staff. They are always willing to help, with a smile. They actually seem to really like their jobs. I believe a lot of this comes from great management. I have spoken to the store manager, Susan, a few times and watched her communicate with employees and thought to myself, this is why the atmosphere is so warm. She treats them with respect and gets the job done. A great store all around! Thank you!

Great staff and excellent variety of groceries and cooked food. The store manager is very professional and helpful. I had a return and she handled it very well and ensured that I was satisfied. Prices may be higher on some items, but I would much rather pay a few cents more than deal with the trash that your normally find behind the counter at other local stores.

Tried the cafe for the first time and was PLEASENTLY surprised. The brick oven pizza we ordered for lunch was made on the spot and so fresh tasting with a good price. Theres a nice area with tables and a tv to enjoy your lunch before or after your shopping. I'm anxious to come back and try the other features the cafe has to offer, like the wine bar. And I love the variety of the store in general.

If I can't find something at any other grocery store I always head to McKays. Selection is limited on some things, but the store is always very clean and organized and the people are always very nice and helpful. Bonus points for being able to pick up wine or coolers at the same time as dinner.

Small store, so selection is not big, but specialties are abundant. They have a great deli section and lunch/dinner items on buffet. Love the Olive bar also!

They don't always have everything you might need as far as a regular supermarket goes, mainly because they excell at carrying a more high end variety of fresh items. Prices are fair and they also have a nice selection of liquors for sale at very fair prices for this area. I personally love that you can buy thier stuffing for stuffed ham (when fall comes) and fresh seafood at great prices...

This McKay's, on Hollywood Road, is one of the smaller, older McKay's. You would not know that though, based on the appearance!

Being a small store, this grocery has a smaller selection then most stores, however what they do have is always fresh and delicious.

They offer:

- A large selection of wine, with a special Maryland Wine Display
- Fresh options for lunch/dinner, such as a taco bar, fresh made pizza, subs, the most delicious fried chicken!, several kinds of soups, a Mediterranean bar, and a salad bar
- Deli Counter
- Seafood Counter
- A wine bar in the deli, where you can buy just a glass of wine
- A side store for lottery and liquor purchases
-Clean bathrooms

I am also very impressed with their selection of bulk products (nuts, oats, quinoa, etc) - they even have a scale nearby so you can bring your own container and weigh it to buy the items you need!

Keep an eye out for their specials as well - Saturday and Sundays are wings for $.30 each!

They have good food which includes ready made and made to order sandwiches and the best pizza. A salad and hot food bars. A seating area with a wine tasting station along with groceries and beer and Spurts ssles. I love it there.

This little McKay's is my favorite place to shop if I only need a few items, it is compact but has a few quirky differences to the bigger stores. Wine tasting, Pizza and a small Cafe area. The staff are always helpful and friendly.

A Very clean and affordable establishment .... I have had the pleasure of knowing the McKay Family My entire life. A great pilar to Our Community. I highly recommend anyone of these stores.

Wonderful place. Excellent produce, excellent crab cakes, really good prepared food, good selection for a smaller store. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Best pizza and chicken wings in St Mary's co. Plus they have southern md seafood and to top it off they have the best stuffed ham you can buy when thanksgiving and Christmas come.

The store was clean, well lit and well laid out. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Prices seemed about average.

It's a great small grocery store to stop and grab a few things. If you want to go grocery shopping go to the bigger store. Pizza is good too.

I enjoy shopping at this store I can grab dinner to cook or already cooked pick up desert and some beer at the same time very convenient

A little pricier than other grocery stores. But the people or are friendly, it's small, it has an excellent salad bar, soup bar, and hot bar.

Was in town visiting a friend and stopped by Mckays to get some groceries and snacks. FANTASTIC store. Wonderful customer service and great selection and quality. Thanks!

Nice store ,high end merchandise and med pricing. Great for quick in and out .
Also has liquor store attached.

Friendly staff, great food (love the little area to eat there) and lots of choices for wine & more!
