This shop has a little bit of everything. Need a gift for a friend, family or in my case a new homeowner? It's here. And yes I definitely always pick up something for myself! Neat store full of interesting little things, lots of handmade artwork and products, and a lot of local/Maryland themed stuff. Enjoyed my visit, bought some art!

I'm kicking myself in the you know what for driving past it on a daily and not discovering the hidden treasures inside. The ladies who worked the counter, forgive me if they happen to be the owners, 🤦🏻‍♀ were bubbly, friendly, and helpful. 😊😍 This is a store where you need to set some time aside to appreciate it in its entirety. The types of items I saw were either beautiful, made me LOL, and appreciative of the person who took the time to personalize or create it.

Some of the items I can recall are handmade soaps, handmade jewelry, beautiful artwork framed and unframed created by our local artist Mary Lou Troutman, funny tumblers and mugs, candles, t-shirts, painted crab shells, a decent size Maryland state and Old Bay products, local honey, and SOOO much more. Also, if you're wondering they do have things that you can purchase for children. I will be going back to take a look again and regularly.

The owner and staff are so welcoming and friendly! I love the variety of hand crafted artistry, antiques, t-shirts, hoodies, maryland souvenirs, and historical books. So many items to please anyone's interests for themselves or gift giving!

So let me begin by saying this was an amazing and unforgettable experience for my wife and I as we just got married on 12/04/21. It was I first time being to Cecil’s. The place was so beautiful and Ms. D who happened to be the new owner was simply incredible and so excited to share about the history of Cecil’s country store and mill. We was in awww of the history and the items that were there. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience on our honeymoon!!!!

We loved the shop. We bought several beautiful prints by my husbands favorite artist. They were so accommodating to us too. We will be going back again and again. So much great things to look at. We are hoping to buy or find a unique dresser for us too. ❤❤❤

I've been to a lot of antique stores. Cecils ranks in my top 3! Plan to spend some time so you can see everything, sometimes two or threes times over. You can buy new and old items. You can learn how to restore, along with different techniques (see Jack T.). Purchase exclusive items from local artists. Items are priced to sell, no need to haggle! Special orders are available. And....don't forget to visit the Mill.

I am one of those people who rarely write reviews, so when I take the time to do so, it is because I received excellent customer service and the prices are great making it fun to go there. My husband even likes going-what does that tell you?? I always look forward to going there..

This is a great antique store and has some very good prices. I got a little rocking chair and I love it! The people are super friendly! I can't wait to go back!
