Academy Sports + Outdoors

Went in to look for camping chairs. They were the advertised price. Store greeter and other staff were great and helpful. Carpet is need of upgrading, but the store displays and merchandise were well ordered and stocked as expected.

Academy is like the Sam’s Club of sporting goods stores - a huge warehouse like structure that carries everything in the entire universe of sports. Baseball, softball, racket sports, golf, running, biking, yoga, are all covered. And while the building is intimidating to walk into as you are thinking, how the heck am I going to find that cooling towel, there are plenty of staff floating to ask and each one I encountered knew exactly where products were I was seeking. In today’s staffing challenges, it is impressive they have so many floor staff. That tells me it is a good place to work too. As for pricing, there were lots of sales and the selection is so good you can find what you want in your budget price point. My only note of caution is the selection of golf clubs seemed slim. Parking is plentiful in this strip mall.

I needed some camping chairs. Looked on their website they were $5.99. I went in the store and they were literally at the door. The cashier was awesome. We had a pleasant and quick conversation, and I was on my way. But while I was in line, I signed up for their emails and got a coupon for my next online purchase. I ll be back

I stopped looked around. I didn't buy anything but I was just checking out some prices and checking out some items. Looking for some Capris for a hefty size girl but didn't find any. Mostly all they have is for skinny people.

Very good sports mall with pretty much anything you need at a decent price. I went to get some disc golfs and the selection was good. They have two different starter sets from innova and dynamic. The dynamic one is more expensive but the driver is a bit better. Can’t really go wrong with any of these.

The prices and selection were great. Easy to find a size 14 shoe here !

Went here for black Friday.Was one of the first people in the store (we got in line at 3:45 am) we were waiting for firearms. I have worked retail for a long time and these staff members were so great!!! Everyone was so patient and steady.. we had to wait for a background check so we ended up being in this particular store for a Good 6 hours...for the amount of business they had they were really understaffed.. but made it happen

Very knowledgeable and kind staff. Was greeted at the door, given help to find what I needed, and treated kindly at the register.

My cashier Lindy was more than polite. He was very helpful . Also I found exactly what I needed

Very clean store. Great Values and selection. We dealt with a wonderful manager named Stan. He helped us find what we were looking for and made sure we were taken care of that day. I was in with my 80 year old Father and Stan was patient, kind, and attentive. He took the time to deal with us while also running the store and helping other customers as well as employees. We'll be back because of him!!!

Very nice place and they have a lot to offer at great prices. The staff make sure that your shopping experience is the best that it can be, and if you need help with anything, they are always available. Would recommend to anyone looking for good quality outdoor or sporting equipment.

I shop here for my family's quick dry clothes in particular. BCG I think is the best quality and value.
I also love browsing the clearance rack!
