Bravo Supermarkets

If you're looking for Hispanic Culture ingredients, baked goods, or snacks among so much more this is an excellent choice for all sorts of items you won't see in a typical supermarket depending on your area. Of course they carry many standard supermarket items.

This store is SUPERIOR to any other supermarket in the Central Islip/Brentwood/Islandia area. I found it to be ultra-clean, organized, and an easy place to shop. Their cashiers are bilingual and cheerful. There is a Food Court! All merchandise is properly labeled and there is zero clutter in the aisles. The Produce Department has an abundance of fruit and vegetables and you can also buy produce BY THE BAG! (VIEW MY PICS). It is HUGE, MUCHO GRANDE.

There is a bakery at the southeast corner of the store that makes its own products and you may select what you want individually with tongs at the nearby display racks (SEE PICS), or use a bag that is within arm's reach, turned inside out over your hand and claim your prize. Then tie it off and you're good to go!

The fish market has no foul odor whatsoever compared to many area stores and the selection is diversely large, fresh, organized, and easy on the eyes (meaning, it is Shopper Friendly for old dudes like me).

Should I go on? The prices are also very reasonable. Why go shopping in a Warehouse in Islip? There is absolutely no reason to be annoyed tripping over inventory on the floor, EVER! There is a pleasant shopping experience to be had at Bravo.

Management: you do a fantastic job.

Believe me or not; visit with your shopping list in hand and everything you need will be found with ease. You will thank me, oh I know you will. Writing reviews is my life's purpose; now I'm being dramatic, but two million readers have read my drivel and viewed the photographs I have provided since September 2018. Good stuff with great people, but there is a guy outside with a megaphone. I'm not a Christian so the store should do something to preserve the peace with people that don't follow those beliefs.

No more those packages that seat for weeks on shelves

It's a great supermarket with great selections and a delicious hot food bar. They even have pre-made dishes so that you can just grab and go! Wish i lived closer, I'd visit Bravo more often.

Bravo cafe has fresh hot home cooked Spanish foods ready to order to-go or to sit in their dining area. This is a lunch go-to spot. You can find just what you need in their fresh fish market and the staff is always ready to assist you for what ever you need. The produce department has some of the best finds in town. Their butchers keep the isle stocked with unique finds and fresh cuts. My FAVORITE spot is the bakery where you will find their THRES LECHES CAKES served in individual squares or a full cake amongst other fresh baked favorites! Pair anything you pick up with an amazing selection of refrigerated imported and domestic beverages of all kinds!

Great variety of foods. They have a deli, a bakery and seafood dept. Always well stocked. Very clean. Great prices. Staff is amazing. Spend $100 and recieve a free item. Only place i will shop.

Bravo is Cheap but people rarely speaks English still Managers stay on head those make big help for communication. Summer is here brari unleashed it's fruit aisle with deals and variety.

I like most of the prices here. The product are fresh and they have some fruits on sale. The price on cereal is high compare with Wal-Mart but everything else is fare compare with other supermarkets.

I found fresh coconut and fresh loroco flowers.. it's a large variety of fresh vegetables from Central America.

This is a very busy and popular store for the Spanish people.I go there for one thing.They serve really good hot Spanish style food in there food court.It helps if you speak spanish.I do not but I find someone who can help all the time.You can always just point to what you want.

One of my favorite places to shop! Every week its different deals and the hot food department has the one of the best chicken soup!

They have great variety of food. Also they have American Pure Honey. Only place in central islip.
