Great place to order chicken for a meal or catering. The Cafe also has Oxtails, vegetables, and desserts. I stop by sometimes after church on Sunday to get baked chicken for the week.

I love it because the chicken is so delicious! I feel like it's because they are not pumped up with steroids. The pork is very tender and delicious! They also have an array of first fruits and vegetables! A lot of ethic foods as well! Their prices are very reasonable on most, things and the quality is great

Got a loaf of bread, 4 pieces of CF Famous Fried Chicken, and red beans/rice.

Some things are ridiculous expensive. But they have a good variety of latino products.

Great place for international foods, and open on holidays. Special hours apply usually till 6pm

This store is great for those who’ve moved from up north. There a huge variety of Jamaican sauces and spices, oxtail, and a lot of stuff we usually could grab from the corner store or market. Happy they have this store here

I love compare so much, I can get all my Jamaican fruits and vegetables along with delicious hard to find spices herbs and snacks… I love that Compare is also owned by a person of color and there is so much diversity in their hiring! Thanks for being amazing as always compare foods!!

The serve hot food that is delicious. It is hard to find Puerto Rican food in this area of town but Compare has very good Puerto Rican foods. Great rice and chicken, awesome beef, plantains. Go get some soon, you will be satisfied for a low cost.

It is the closest thing to your old fashion corner store but with better prices. The hidden gem in this store in in their Deli. In this wonderful store they have the best fried chicken in the CLT!
We know the king retired " The Coop" but you can get an 8 piece of righteous chicken at the price Coop charged for two piece dinner. Everyone that works at Compare are customer driven. Check it out.

I love this store. It has a variety of fruits and vegetables that are always fresh. The meat section looks incredible and I'm a vegetarian. It's kept very clean and is free from odor.

I'm so excited about this new Compare Foods! For years I've said this would be a great location and I even emailed the corporate office about it several years ago. This area has a growing Latino population and there wasn't anything similar anywhere near here. It's in transition from the old store and I can't wait to see it finished. Welcome welcome!!

This is my family's go to place for all ethnic foods, especially for Latin American recipes and home cooking. They always have better produce, best prices on fresh produce. The selection of Latin foods and specialties is not available anywhere else. We couldn't do without one. We drive over 30 miles to get to this because there is nothing near us that has the items we can get at compare foods.

I was impressed when I went to the compare supermarket. The food that you can find in this place from all the countries are so awesome. And the prices are good. I recommend it!!!

I drove by not realizing that Compare Foods took over the Just Save retail space. I stopped in and it was exceptionally clean and the produce was fresh, but limited in comparison to other locations. The shelves were well stocked and organized. The deli and bakery were busy but it was also lunch time. For the most part many of the prices were on par with other nearby supermarkets. A customer in front of me asked why they are not accepting SNAP or EBT and the cashier (who was super friendly) said that they were waiting on their license (likely COVID delay). The store is still getting established and I hope people do give them a chance and that over time they will have more of a selection of Caribbean produce.

They did go up due to some inflation issues throughout the country from $7.49 per 8pc to $8.49 per 8pc. Still well worth it. I hope 🙏 it goes back down at some point when the country gets back to normal 😕. Wishful thinking.

If you are from Caribbean and you are looking for a place to get some of the things you typically get from home, this is the supermarket for you. You will also appreciate their variety of root vegetables, produce and meat even the fish.

Always clean! They’re always restocking fresh produce! The place for fresh produce and Latin Produce!

All what a Hispanic person needs or want at home. Great service. And the already cook dominican food...waoooo... The Chef Victor is amazing.... Go and try his delicias....
