I like this hardware store. I have been going here fifty years. Not a big box type of store. The men who run this store are knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend going in and taking a look around, it sells some interesting items. I am going to return to buy a boiling pot and burner that I need. It's too large to get on an airplane, so I will drive back to Jefferson,La. to get it. Follow up I drove back to this store a month later and bought a 102 quart stainless steel pot and a stainless steel two jet burner. The two cost me $520.00 . I was glad to get them and I will find out in the spring if I made a good choice. I will do an update and say just what I think.

Very friendly, happy workers and customers. One on one help. Not a big box store. Owner on property makes a world of difference. Knowledgeable staff. Cant or I would give 10 STARS.

It's great that we still have neighborhood hardware stores around. When I need a part fast, I'll go to Baldwin-Taylor before any of the big box home stores. And they always have somebody on staff who knows how to find what I'm looking for and can help explain how to use it if necessary. Support your local stores! Let's keep them in business!

Down home neighborhood hardware. Has everything imagineable. I went in for keys,hand made. All the staff is super helpful w/finding what you need &" fix it " advice. I went in close to closing time&was NOT rushed out. Carry propaine gas ,close early on Sat.

Had a firearm shipped here in order to do the FFL transfer. Everyone was very helpful and it was a quick & easy process. Reasonable transfer fee as well.

I had a quick in and out experience! The knowledgeable sales person knew exactly what I was talking about. Found me the plumbing piece right away. I regret, being in a hurry, shopping the aisles of amazing products would have to wait for another day. Love this store!

Very friendly staff. Can find what you need for that seafood boil, camping, house and car repairs, tools, garbage cans, brooms and the old fashioned but durable items. However, key copies are expensive.

Stopped in for a couple of items. Really enjoyed the atmosphere of the old neighborhood hardware store.The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely shop there again. Thank you Baldwin Taylor!!

I'm 70 and can remember the old hardware stores of my youth and I always shop there because it's like a small trip to yesterday

Great little hardware store. Very nice people work there. The only place i know that you can still get glass cut. They also sell propane gas.

What a hardware store should be!

I needed an obscure part that I had no chance of finding at the big-box home improvement stores. Not only did they have it, they knew how it needed to be installed. This store is on the other side of town from me, but it's worth the drive if you can get what you need.

Walking down the aisles you see a few of this and a couple of those. In the big box stores there are a thousand of this and none of those.

If you miss the good ol’days, check them out. There to help you from the second you walk in the door. Use theM for random things I need at work. Never let me down.

Love this place man. Has all the stuff u would ever need and want. Nothing like a small hardware store that actually helps you when u walk in. Not like the big box stores. Support local business

This place has a little bit of everything and some. You can even get your propane tanks filled! Not many places do that anymore. They even have the oldest FFL in the state of LA, so yea that hunting rifle you been dreaming of evey night but you dont have a FFL so u cant get it shipped to you in the mail, yea they will take shipment for you and with all the paperwork and a handling fee that baby is yours!
