The Needle Exchange Records & Tapes

Had so much fun flipping through the seemingly endless bins of records at the Needle Exchange. My partner is obsessed with meatloaf and Ian found an unopened Bat out of Hell for him. The owner, Ian, knows so many fun tidbits about nearly everything in the store. You’re into VHS? They have a whole wall. Looking for tapes? They have those too! There is even a local spotlight shelf. I would definitely recommend checking this shop out if you’re ever in Columbus!

Quite the selection of vinyl and VHS, with a myriad of classics. Such a walk down memory lane to stroll through the Needle Exchange. We went for the Secret Tape event and it was so much fun. The host (owner?) was so enthusiastic and did a great job of navigating the event. It was plain to see that many attendees were friends, which made it super cozy, like hanging out in someone’s living room. Will definitely attend again.

I appreciate that the store is on the smaller side because I don't get overwhelmed! And every time I go I find some excellent vinyl. <3

My favorite record store! Ian is a great shop owner, makes great recommendations and somehow always have the new stuff I'm looking for! I cannot recommend enough if you collect records, tapes, vhs and even 8 tracks.

6 Let's say you're looking to buy something from the most badderasseded collection this side of northwestern canadia, this the place for you, cause a handful of my former rekkids have a new temporary home. 6 Need loot to do things that require cash money dollars, this also the place for us. Mister Fancystache is easy, fun and knowledgeably special to work with. Buy or sell this the place to goto first.6

Good selection, good prices. Owner is cool and involved in a worthy cause (harm reduction) too. Definitely a good place to dig and find some gems.

Nice record shop with some vhs and cassett tapes too. Also cheap record players. Owner is solid and helpful. Great small shop to browse.
