A nice local city park on the north end of Cannon Beach. It has some nice walking paths, some nice grass fields, a nice public well kept restroom and Trail access to the estuary near where it enters the ocean. Also have some nice interpretive signs along some of the trails. It's about three blocks away from Chapman Beach and the Sacagawea statue, so those are pretty close by as well if you want to explore more. Overall a nice little park.

This is a nice well shaded park or Sun just a short walk to the beach. They have public restrooms and picnic tables and room to toss the ball or walk the dogs before heading to the sand. One downside is the limited parking area and not friendly to a class c or larger rig. We had a pleasant time.

Great park! I stopped by only for a couple of hours to check it out and walk on the beach, but the park was very neat and attractive, I look forward to visiting again.

Nice little park. Water spicket is helpful for cleaning off feet and dogs when you're done on the beach. The park has several picnic tables and beach access close by. Great for lunch if you're just trying to get out of the busy City center but still want tables to eat at.

Played perfect game of catch with nerf football next to elk, then topped with barefoot walk to beach ⛱

Wonderfully spacious park with plenty of shade and tables. Easy access to water. Not too bad of a walk to the ocean depending on tide.

I love this local little park. Park and walk to the beach. Got a little bonus seeing the elk too.

This is an all-time favorite park! Not the biggest, but all the things you want! Wide open grass, tables, close access to the beach and a well-maintained bathroom!

This was a good place to end our hike from Ecola State Park through Crescent Beach around the point to Chapman Beach and then along Ecola Creek. You can only get around the point at low tide so time it well. We crossed over to Chapman beach before the tide was completely out and got wet, one of us was drenched. Les Shirley Park has a public restroom where you can freshen up a bit.

This park is excellent! Though, I did have to remove a star because there's no play structures for children, I think having the beach really close makes up for that. Therefore, I've decided to restore the star. It has a faucet with a hose for spraying off the sand and a restroom with stainless steel facility furniture. I think one thing they could do to improve it would be to add showers so people could clean off a little better the sand in places nobody likes sand! A 2-hour drive back home results in a very itchy place that nobody wants sand:-(. Thank you Cannon Beach for the lovely park that you offer!

Nice picnic and bathroom facilities with access to both river and ocean beach. Our grandkids love this place for building sand castles?

We've always loved this little gem of a park. Lots of shade on hot days, clean rest rooms, and an easy walk to both the beach and downtown Cannon Beach. Limited parking, so go early.

Parking fills up last, or at least second last here. Flush toilets, a nicely groomed lawn, and a few picnic tables comprise the facilities. Good access to the beach, although if you want to walk south into town or to Haystack Rock along said beach you will get your feet wet in the wide stream.

Serene and beautiful. One of the most notorious haystack rocks can be seen from this park. There is almost always a large stream separating you from the ocean. Be prepared to get your feet wet or take a nice walk further up the beach to get around it.
