The Bunk House Motel

Lovely, great motel. Old fashioned motel with high modern standards. In general, the owner gives you the feeling that you would rather stay with him at home and not in a roadside motel. A wonderful man. Taking the key to the room, you can buy movies from the owner's rich DVD collection, you can also go to the bonfire which is available at the end of the property. The room cleanly like at home, home linens, scented towels. everything absolutely everything is top. Thanks for letting me stay here and the motel is on my wonder list.

Great place to stay. Very clean. Very quiet. Good Wi-Fi. Fairly priced. If you like white noise to sleep with, it has a nice fan in the room. Appears to be a great restaurant, although it was closed when I was here. Good shell station a block away with groceries. Would stay again.

Great room, service, and location! We got a room with a shared bathroom. We were surprised at how clean the room and bathroom were. The guy at the office (nick?) was super friendly and funny. It’s a great and cheap place to stay when traveling the Oregon coast.

If you want an old fashioned experience of hospitality given by local residents who care about what they do, come here. The staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable and the decor is unique. Clean and comfy, this is an excellent choice to stay in Nehalem.

Truly the best place I've ever stayed. Better than every single hotel or motel I've ever been to, not a spec of dust or grime anywhere in these rooms and they all had an amazing vibe and feeling to them! The owner is so incredibly kind and sweet, I could go on about how much me and my family loved this place, we'll definitely be coming back in the future! I'd recommend this place to absolutely everyone

This was the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed!! The owner Nick was so warm and friendly. Restaurant food was excellent. Very comfortable and would definitely return again. You can’t beat this spot for price, comfort, and relaxation.

The wooden signs for the motel and adjacent restaurant are weather-worn and almost easy to miss, but my girlfriend and I were both pleasantly surprised by how clean and well cared for our room was. It had a warm feeling to it and the bed was pretty comfy too.
We also really like the restaurant, which is like the motel in a simple, down-home kind of way.
All of the people we met who work at both establishments were helpful and genuinely friendly.
We've paid a *lot more* for *much less* at other places.
It's certainty that we will be back.

Super clean rooms!!! We got a cabin. Absolutely spotless! Had everything! was furnished. We brought some yummy food back and cooked it in room. Decor reminded me of childhood. Which made us so happy and comfortable. Was so comfy and cozy. Bed was amazing. Couch was amazing. The owner Nick is adorable. This was our second time staying there. Will come again soon.

We loved this quaint little place. Would have enjoyed staying longer. Very very clean. Nice thick fresh smelling towels and clean sheets, comfy bed and pillows. Would definitely stay here again! Very homey!

I visited the restaurant; there are a motel and candy store altogether in a cabin type setting. The restaurant has a good menu offering a bounty of goodness. My husband has rated their burger his personal favorite! Really nice people, clean, beer & wine too. 🍳🍽🍔🍲☕🍺🍷

I make a point of stopping here any time I am out in Manzanita. The food is fantastic and the portions are generous. No matter who comes to your table to take your order, they are cheerful and make you feel welcome. If you happen to be in for breakfast try the French toast made from sliced cinnamon rolls. Your taste buds will thank you. Make sure you peek in the fountain out front. There are lots of things for small people in your party to see, hidden amongst the rocks of the fountain.

What a great place! We called last minute and Pam got us the last room. She was very helpful and saved our bacon! The room was clean and cozy. The restaurant was delicious and the staff was great. What a hidden gem!

Such great service and a sweet small town feel! The food is good and the drinks are strong. This is a favorite stop along the coast. I hope to stay in their cabins sometime!

Had Sunday breakfast here. The eggs, hashbrowns, and mixed berry waffles were exactly what I needed. Vanessa and the other staff were extremely friendly and courteous. Highly recommend for anybody looking for a no frills tasty diner.

Hands down, this is the best stay on the Oregon coast. Repeat customer here, and it just gets better every time. Nick is a pleasure to talk to, and was great with our kids. I can’t wait for our next stay!

Beautiful rooms. Simple, yet everything you need! We couldn't find a motel last minute in seaside and drove a little ways down the road they let us in late at night and super cheap!! We will be back!!
