Zayde's Market

I recently ordered their prepared Passover meal, and everyone agreed it was delicious.The stuffed chicken was scrumptious and moist, the kugel was tasty, the gefilte fish, which we heated in the oven before serving, had some who were trying gefilte fish for the first time marveling at how delicious it was. (And that never usually happens!) Several of us had stuffed chicken and shared order of quinoa and acorn squash, as well as other delicious foods. The presentation was lovely -- with the squash and quinoa stuffed into the shell of the squash. The tsimmis was great. To be honest, the quality of the matzoh ball soup didn't match the excellence of the rest of the meal. -- way too salty, and the matzoh balls weren't flavorful enough.That said the quality of the rest of the meal was amazing, and the grocery deserves 5 stars. And I'm not usually this easy to please. Some years ago I ordered a Passover meal prepared. from Wegman's, and it wasn't half as tasty. I have a hunch that this meal preparation is a labor of love for the owners and staff at the store....with everything ready for pickup on date and time promised. A meal worthy of 5 stars.. they deserve. Excellent kosher food.

We live on the North Shore and stopped in on our way home from a trip south of Boston. I grew up in New Jersey and often miss the food from home. Zayde's carries baked goods from local bakeries like Rosenfeld's Bagels (including the best challah) and had a ton of hamantaschen for Purim from Zucker's Bakery and Reisman's. There was also a large selection of meat and frozen and prepared items. Our visit was much easier than a trip into Brookline, and they have parking! Thanks for the great experience.

A great place if you keep kosher, and even if you don't.
When you enter, there's a very good kosher wine section, nicely displayed. I saw a couple of winemakers I had not heard of before.
Excellent and well-displayed kosher cheese selection.
The deli department has OUTSTANDING homemade deli. The corned beef is rich and thick-cut. I think the selection changes, but on my visit I also got black currant glazed pastrami. I've never seen that before. Also thick-cut and WOW. The homemade chopped liver is highly flavorful and worth every milligram of cholesterol. :)
Overall, the meat selection is very good, fresh and frozen.
One major important feature -- FREE PARKING in nice open shopping center parking lot with PLENTY OF SPACES. That alone gives Zayde's the edge over driving to Brookline (effectively the same distance from me.)

Great small store lots of variety extremely fresh meats in this time that it is hard to find any at some stores. Well stocked employees wear masks gloves are available when u enter as is sanitizer on your way out. First time customer likes the one direction isles also. Very helpful staff.

I am SO happy to have discovered Zayde's Market. Many, many fresh and frozen prepared food options and so far everything I've tried has been delicious. Reasonably priced, too. Not just for kosher, though clearly that's their specialty, we're talking local, home-made delicacies from chicken soup to meat pies to stuffed cabbage to hummus, and lots in between. Their fresh half-sour pickles are the best you'll find outside a top deli. PLUS, a fantastic fresh meat section with beautiful cuts of beef, whole and boneless chicken, ground turkey, sausages and more. I used Zayde's kosher chicken breasts in a recent dish and will never go back to regular store bought, the taste and texture were so superior. They also have a small wine and alcohol selection. Go check out this special treasure trove in Boston's south suburbs.

Great selection of kosher food. Fresh deli counter with prepared foods. Excellent assortment of kosher wines. Definitely a place you want to stop if heading over to an observant household.

Fabulous selections! FRIENDLY & KNOWLEDGEABLE help! This tiny kosher gem of a store is packed with all the essentials, including special treats. FABULOUS meat, cut by real professionals who take pride in what they do. I'll be back!

Obsessed with Zaydes! The food is always incredible and they do a great job with catering special events! Always have everything you need for the holidays. The staff is friendly, and extremely helpful. Couldn’t recommend more!

Great selection, josh the owner took a great deal of time to talk to me on the phone about kosher steaks, he hand cut them for a special dinner i was preparing. Everything was great, definitely recommend and will be back soon!

For a small footprint place, this store has everything a kosher family could ask for. Full love of butchered products, deli counter, prepared kosher food, dairy, even baked goods. Butcher will cut to order.

The owner walked up to me and my friend and gave us each a fresh potatoe latke to taste. Very heartwarming and delicious.
