This supermarket is a little expensive. However they makeup up for it with weekly sales that starts on every Friday. I signed up for it at the store, so I get the link sent to my phone by text. Now I know what’s on sale before I get to the store. I recommend this grocery store to anyone.

Great grocery store in the Crown Heights area that offers reasonably priced and fresh food. Went to 2 other supermarkets and this by far is the best bang for your buck with the rewards. The staff is also kind and will give you tips

Staff were friendly to a high level, and the products and environment were clean. Customers are also courteous and I don't recall ever seeing an argument or aggressive altercation here.
Nice selection of products all around although they don't seem to ever stock bananas.

I love this supermarket because of the bakery/pastries section they have on site. They offer a large selections of cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, muffins and cannolis. There is a hot and cold deli selections. They've a hot bar with a variety of hot food and a section that have ready to eat pasta dishes, sandwiches, wraps and hot wings.
There is also a organic juice section across from the bakery section.
This isn't your regular supermarket, but more of a one stop shop market for all your needs in one place!

Clean, friendly staff, organized, well stocked grocery store with good selection. We live down the street and I've had positive experiences when I've stopped in. I try to do most of my grocery shopping at the Whole Foods in Gowanus on the weekend, so when I'm here it's usually for something specific and I'm generally able to find it. The only drawback is that sometimes the lines can be long if it's a busy time of day.

Urban Market formerly known as Keyfood always has good sales weekly. The convenience of looking at the sales on line is so helpful in the times of dealing with the pandemic. The staff is always professional, kind, help and makes shopping at the market easier. Happy 2023 Urban Market.

Great selection of Sweet Sams cakes and cookies

Recently renovated. Love their new deli & hot food section. There's also a larger produce selection. I'm still familiarizing myself with the location of some items, but the shopping experience is relaxing. Management & employees are all very helpful. Would recommend.

Urban Market is always well stocked and well kept. I was able to buy a Chocolate Eclair Pie for only .50 cents and 2 Romaine Lettuce for only $7.00. They always have great deals. The store is never crowded and open up early at 7:00am.

Pretty clean for Key Foods store. They have nice deals. The pharmacy section is in the front. If you have a large family or a recurring event you can take advantage of their bulk sales. I just wish they were open later and gave free sample tastings some times.

It's AMAZING !! I've lived in the neighborhood for over 20 yrs raised my son here and KeyFood has NEVER been so diversified. Keep up the great look you're almost a one stop shop with fresh food in your new Deli, you can't go wrong

My favorite neighborhood shop. The people who operate, manage and work her are very dedicated and hardworking. It has always been that way but definitely have a new found appreciation since the pandemic.

Update: better prices, renovated interior due to gentrification. Much better store! Major updates, I’ll Be going here often! High prices, exterior hasn't been updated in a decade and the store has an odd smell

Urban Market is ideally located on Nostrand Avenue between Prospect Place and St. Marks Avenue in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. Here you can get fresh produce, dairy products and other items at reasonable prices. Accessible via the B44 local and select buses (on New York and Nostrand Avenues respectively) and opens at 7:00 am. Visible by traffic.

For a densely populated area of the City, this super market shines. Abundant fresh produce, fresh meats and chicken, wide variety of cheeses. There's no bakery so the bread choices are slim. Maybe the most important thing is that this store functions more like a large grocery store than a neighborhood store. All kinds of cleaning products and household goods are happily afforded along with canned and boxed foods that suit the needs of customers. I bought an excellent pumpernickel bread loaf to make roasted turkey sandwiches and a salad mix to have alongside. Try this place if you want to cook or even if you don't..it won't disappoint.
