Fantastic Korean market. Their Kimbap is such a filling snack. Has everything you’d need to have your own at-home KBBQ night (pictured below are the ingredients and banchan bought from this grocery store). I love their banchan selection and always get my weekly container of kimchi 😍

My go-to for korean and some japanese groceries in the Monterey area. They also have kimbap at the register and banchan! The lady working there was super friendly.

We buy fresh kimchi and various other freshly made Korean salads, rolls, and other grocery products here every few weeks. It seems to be women run and there is almost always a group of ladies working to make fresh products and keep everything well stocked. Have been going here for years and they are always on top of their game. Very nice too!

Amazing Bandhan! I love local small stores and they are my number one! Their Korean Bandhan are very authentic Korean food. Totally my go to place for Korean food!!

Went here hopeful, and ended up finding every Japanese grocery items I needed. Kewpie mayonnaise, unagi sauce, and even frozen eel. When checking out, the lady was super nice and tossed a box of cookies into our bag for free. Will definitely go back!

This place isn’t as large as other Asian markets, but they probably have what you’re looking for. Employees were very kind and knowledgeable. Pro tip - they take cards but have a $10 minimum.

I've been going here for a long time, and it's got almost everything for Korean / Japanese food recipes. Even stuff for Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese recipes. They even have Sun noodle ramen. However, sometimes, their customer service is lacking. The one lady I used to see always is great. But, now, I'm seeing more other Korean ajimas, and they're kinda mean and not so nice.

I just went here with my friend who is extremely interested in asian culture and she was super excited at the selection. The attendant was very sweet and kind and welcomed her to her shelf of Japanese books for free. The clerk is very kind and this place absolutely deserves patronage. Wish I could give 10 out of 5 stars!

Had exactly what I was looking for plus some extra yummies that I ended up trying. Very friendly service too. Also.. They were cooking something that smelled delicious, not sure if they offer some take out? Will come back here for sure.

Large selection of Korean and Japanese food items. Selection includes fresh, frozen and packaged foodstuffs and some toiletries. Shop was clean and well organized, and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Best kimchis of various sort as well as homemade Korean deli items. Knowing this shop we stopped buying pechu kimchi and kaktoogi from elsewhere. Their kimbap (Korean rolls) is very tasty and of a good value. We love it!

Great place for Korean and Japanese ingredients- miso, fresh kimchi, anchovies, gochujang, the works. Plenty of frozen seafood and meats, and a respectable selection of Japanese candy and tea. Their house-made salads and rolls are in back, and are a delicious, cheap treat. Good to support them after the massive construction on Broadway.

We found Sriracha. It was there on the shelf like a glimmering beacon of hope and salvation. I need say no more. 5 stars.

What a terrific hole in the wall. What wonderful asian food selections! They also prepare fresh sushi to order. The merchant was super sweet and informative. I love this place.

The best Korean/Japanese market ever.They keep a clean and organized operation. I must also mention they are very friendly and courteous to all customers. I frequently shop there!!!

Love this hidden gem! They usually have some interesting produce that I cannot pass up. Today I got some enoki; last time it was king oyster mushrooms.

A friendly, fun and quaint Korean focused Asian import grocer. Their kimbap is cheap and tasty. Worth a stop for sure.
