Great quality food and excellent staff. Store is conveniently located, ample parking. Prices are above competitors for many items yet if one is diligent there are a handful of loss leaders which make it worthwhile to stop in and take advantage.

Petaluma Safeway rocks. Store is clean, well stocked, great hot foods, well staffed. We drive down from RP to shop there.

This Safeway in Petaluma is so different from the smaller one in Santa Cruz that I had been shopping at before moving. I love it! It's really big and if you go early in the day you can find almost everything you need. I will definitely keep shopping there. They also have a wonderful customer service desk where you can get money orders and more. It is my new one stop shopping place. UPDATE 7/22 Still loving Safeway UPDATE 7/23 Things are getting back to normal because today I found everything that I needed. Thanks Safeway!UPDATE 2/24 Still shopping at Safeway and loving it. I now know where everything is and it's a pleasure to shop there.

First time in this store. I was really impressed with the layout. Very nice Safeway. We'll be shopping here for now on; a little further drive but we'll worth it. They have a lot of things in this store we have never seen before.

I really like the Safeway on Sonoma Mountain Parkway. Previously a G&G market, it is VERY clean, well stocked and has some items you just don't see at other Safeway stores. Deli and freshly prepared items show depth in choice and fine quality, much of it very reasonably priced. Winner!

I come every few weeks to buy candy and soda for myself. Good selection of different types of candy, drinks and other snacks. They also have really good pre-packaged sushi that's great to have if you're on a budget or on the go. The checkout lines can be a bit long, though since I usually only have one or two items, I just use self-checkout which only takes about 30 seconds if you know what you're doing.

Excellent store, pretty much they got everything you need for groceries and friendly staff. I highly recommended.

Had great experience with the management here! Always helpful. They have some great U Deals on the Safeway app!!! Make sure to use it! And occasionally there are FREE items.

A quick in and out self checkout great

That's my local Safeway recently the customer service has stepped up a notch and the people that shop there are genuinely good people I had an recent experience where I didn't have the money to pay for all my groceries the man behind me probably about my age maybe younger quietly paid my entire bill almost brought me to tears. there are some good people left on this planet and in my town of Petaluma.

Scuffins...they are known for was delicious!!! Must try. Friendly service.

2 entrances. Amazon locker inside next to a Starbucks. blue USPS drop off mailbox for letters right outside the entrance, a restroom in side the other. movie rental machine inside.

The staff are super helpful and make the shopping experience easy. I thank them for helping me to eat on a regular basis!

Overall, this is a very good grocery store. the employees are the real stars here, as they work around Safeway policy to try and help us all get the food and goods we need. I'm really happy with their selection of organic produce, they always have everything in stock and at a lower price than WF or even sprouts sometimes. I really like being able to get what I want here, and not settle for just what's in stock like I have to another grocery stores. I like the promotional pricing and $5 Friday deals. I love that they have a full-service grocery store with all the departments staffed and pretty knowledgeable people in those departments. Whenever I ask for help at this Safeway I almost always get someone who knows what they are talking about, or they are happy to go and find someone who knows what they're talking about.

Large Safeway with an easy in and out parking lot. Well stock shelves, spacious aisles and a good deli with Boar's Head products.

Pretty standard Safeway, but I really appreciated the butcher. He was friendly and informative, helped me to choose the best meat for my budget.

They pretty much sell every grocery item I need. I like being able to get " 1 stop shopping" whenever possible. Also enjoy their Delivery service which is free if you don't care what time you recieve your order. Or up to $6.00 if u need within a 2hr window the next day; ? $4.00 if between 4hr window. They are always on time and friendly.

Good sandwich and because I'm a Safeway club member, my next one will be free. Plenty of parking at this Safeway and easy to get in and out of the shopping center. This store has a full sized deli with as Sushi counter in addition to the regular deli counter and hot case. Their bakery is also much bigger than average, as is the Starbucks (which has additional seating). Self checkout lanes are also appreciated. All in all a great Safeway.

Great selection of produce, meats, and ethnic goods without having to visit multiple stores!

This Safeway has many tables and a counter where you may relax and eat, and charge your phone! The restrooms are also located right there in the front of the store, too. They always have yummy samples of their baked goods in the bakery department, in the late afternoon. This is a large store, always bright and clean, with lots of salads, soups, and breakfast available from 6:00am to 11:00am. I think it 's the BEST Safeway, with helpful, friendly, and kind staff.
