Ace hardware store

This is a great little hardware store with a ton of different things. The employees are more than helpful and kind. It's a must stop in St. Petersburg....better than the big box sores!

This hardware store is a staple in this area, and most people you talk to recommend it over the big box alternative like Lowes. You can't beat their customer service. Every time I go in there, someone is offering to help me within seconds.

Very helpful and friendly staff. They don’t badger you. I like to browse and this place has it all. A fiberglass ladder I bought at Home Depot last week was CHEAPER AT ACE!! I’ll come here first next time.

So much better than the big box stores. Better prices, great plants, most things you need on the fly, and the staff is super helpful.

I'm going to give 5 stars because this place is awesome! I can pop in, pop out, always great service. But I have a concern. I saw a truck yesterday with the license plate XKXKXK, and based on how/where it was parked I think it could be an employee vehicle. If it's not I will take this pic down immediately, but if it is an employee I'd like an explanation as to what XKXKXK means.

My favorite hardware store since Mr. Putnam (Putnam's Paint and Hardware) retired and his store closed. Very helpful staff and good quality materials and tools.
