The best board game store in Indy. Always updating their sale table with good deals. A large selection that isn't too spread out. Has free table space to game. And good for all types of gamers. Years of experience, just starting, large parties, 1 vs 1, heavy on theme, focusing only on strategies, etc. They have it all.

Your points earned here never expire! I have had points saved from nearly 10 years ago and way able to spend them to save money on products here.

The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with any questions you have or in their recommendations if asked!

They put the FRIENDLY in Friendly Local Game Store (FLGS). Very helpful staff and amazing selection of games. The only place I will spend my money from now on.

Anytime I'm in Indy, I make a point to drop by Game Preserve. They've always got games and supplies that I need in stock, and a place to play with my friends. The staff are always friendly and happy to recommend a game if you're not sure what you're looking for. Whether you've got a few minutes or a couple hours, it's worth stopping by!

Lots of board game variety! Absolute awe. Staff were nice and helpful.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. I went in to by paints. Got to talking about airbrushing and problems I was having. Was given some tips and tricks by a staff member who airbrushes. Note: I don’t think they sell airbrushes, so this was personal knowledge and not an upsell! I am very impressed and appreciative.

Great game store. I purchased a model. I opened it and looked at it and then I realized that I had actually wanted to buy a set that it was in instead of the individual model. They let me do the exchange even though I had opened the box (I didn't actually touch anything other than looking at the sprue). I imagine they might not do this with some things though.

All-time favorite board game store!!! Staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the games. If you are looking for something specific, and they don't have it they will try everything within their power to help you find/order it.

Knowledge service and a willingness to leave you alone and explore they amazing selection. Do not go here for the traditional board games like Sorry!, Trouble, or Shoots and Ladders as ( the owner told me) the distributor can't give them a price that then allows The Preserve to make any profit. Anyways, as I only end up there once or twice a year when I am buying for the gamer in my life I am always impressed because they know the regulars by name, obviously seek to help them secure the unique game pieces they need, and will be honest about what they can and cannot get their hands on. Check it out!

A great place to buy a wide variety of games. The customer service is always great. Dave was clutch when I called asking for a particular game, one of which they only had a single copy of in stock. He offered to hold it for me, which I greatly appreciated because of the drive to get there. I always enjoy shopping here. Their rewards program saved me 15 bucks to boot.

Been a great game store for 30+ years. Huge selection of board games, family games, some RPGS (mainly D&D & Pathfinder, but a few others), excellent selection of Reaper and D&D & Paizo miniatures, decent selection of GW, X-Wing & Armada. Helpful, friendly staff. Points reward system is nice, too.

Kind, welcoming, and courteous. Everything you want in a game shop. Make sure to sign up for thier rewards program. You get a percentage off every purchase back as store credit. Simply amazing!

As someone who frequents many game stores, this one is by far my favorite. I've never had any issues with workers being rude. Usually if you have questions about games and they don't know, they don't hesitate to look stuff up. Good selection of games too, from advanced to basic. You can find a game for anyone there.

This is a great shop if you are interested in table top games and RPGs. Staff are welcoming and willing to answer questions. They have everything you might need to run a game of D&D (and more). Dice, miniatures, and all the books. They have a game room available to play, just be sure to call ahead and ensure it is available.

It is a hobby shop that caters to just about every type of hobby except video games. Select on board and party games are vast and they have a robust Magic: the gathering inventory.

Like every business though, they do need to make decisions about what they stock and don't stock. If you are looking for any war-gaming items the selection is not as massive but the staff will work with you to order it if possible.

As for gaming space, the back area can handle plenty of card games easily but can be cramped when doing war-gaming but not by much. For the store front in a strip mall near the fashion mall on the north side of Indy, they did a great job with the space.

I'm a big fan of this shop! The employees are friendly and helpful. They provide good suggestions and know many of the games and make a point of learning them. I haven't gone to a game night yet, but they have plenty of options for you to join in.
