Game Preserve

This is a well organized game shop. They have almost all your tabletop gaming and miniature painting needs. With everything for every level rather you're just starting out or a seasoned player/dungeon master. Prices are very fair, and the staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.

I love this place. We haven't been residents of Indiana for almost 4 years. We drove past and saw it was open on Friday night and popped in to look around. The Store's selection is fantastic and the pricing is about where I expected it to be for a brick and Mortar.

You might be thinking to yourself, "I know it smell crazy in there." And depending on the day and density of gamers present, you might be right. But that's part of the atmosphere that comes with the territory, and when it comes to tabletop gaming, CCGs, miniatures, and related hobbyist paraphernalia, the Game Preserve is the absolute one-stop shop. One can frequently find dudes running TTRPG campaigns or Magic: The Gathering card tournaments in the large connected game room, which is a blessing for avid gamers of all ages looking to satisfy that anytime itch whenever GenCon isn't currently happening in Indy. Go buy some games for your home there, and you'll almost certainly be able to find someone who can explain it to you in great detail.

In my unscientific estimate, there's probably a zillion different ways to have fun in this store. There's just so many games! No matter what genre of tabletop gaming you're into, whether you're a casual player or dedicated gamer, Game Preserve will definitely have something for you.

Beginning in the front of the store, you'll find the familiar family favorites. As you work your way in, you'll discover rows of dice, cards and what seems like every board game under the sun. If you have a favorite movie or TV show, they have games for that. Like historic or sci-fi themes? They have those games. Party games? Yep. Popular new releases? Got those. Miniature games? Yes, plus all the paints and brushes to customize your set.

Staff is always super friendly and helpful when you're looking for something specific or trying to choose between their many titles. I've bought several gifts there plus several games for myself, all have been a huge hit. In the evenings, they open up their huge side room for games (I often see people playing Magic the Gathering and I know there’s open game nights too). Plus there's a rewards program for repeat customers. I'll definitely be back!

Great local gamestore. Need a wider variety of wargame model manufacturers. GW isn't the only producer out there. Would be cool to be able to get stuff from non-gw manufacturers for conversion kits locally instead of buying online.

Cool place! Lots of unique AND popular games. I really liked that they have a separate room w/ tables and chairs to play a game.

This game store easily clears all others in Indy (perhaps excluding its own second location). Great selection and knowledgeable staff, their points rewards system is the only one that's actually worth your while! Great place to play warhammer and magic the gathering on tournament nights.

They always have a great selection of indie games and loads of fun minis. I don't partake in the gaming side of the building, but it looks clean and spacious.

I'm not a gamer but if I was I'd shop here. Came in to get some Christmas gifts and was blown away at the selection of games. Super friendly staff.

Little gem of a place. Nice selection of board games and miniatures without the "unlit basement" feel that a lot of the older game shops had. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and helpful. I wish they hosted D&D style games (seems they're more focused on 40k and Magic) but still a nice little place.

Great place for tabletop gaming. I get in on the magic drafts every Friday at 7. Standard format kicks off at the same time.

Great selection across the board, fair prices, and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I'm a Dungeon Master who loves to paint miniatures for my homebrew sessions and I almost exclusively buy my supplies from the Game Preserve. If you're a gaming nerd in just about any capacity you'll find something worthwhile here. 10/10 can't recommend enough.

This is the best game store ever!!! I have never felt more invited into a gaming community, and now I'm a weekly regular playing at least twice a week.

Great place to get my tabletop game needs and my miniature characters. Always a friendly staff and I have never had a bad experience there yet. Very knowledgeable about the items they carry and are always willing to help order something if they don't have it.

This store is awesome! The people that work there are always friendly and helpful. The employees there learn your names too so you feel part of a community. The gamers here are polite friendly and willing to let new people into their social circle! I would highly suggest this store for gaming and even shopping! The prices are fair and their rewards system is great!

I've been shopping here since the early 2010 and have always had excellent service. I'm so happy to see how much bigger and busier they have become over time. This is a safe space with many, great products to pick. Take friends for a fun time!

Their expanded game playing room makes it 5 stars. Excellent board game selection. Very good support of D&D and Pathfinder.

Very nice place large selection of board games/table top minis and paints 7-8 war gaming tables and enough card gaming tables to sit 50-60 people

Great store. Well priced and good staff. Would return if back in Indiana.
