Barnes & Noble

This is a smaller Barnes and Noble but they still manage to have a decent selection. You most likely won't find books that aren't as mainstream or popular but they always have new releases and events. The staff is friendly, helpful, and the store is clean.

This new space is absolutely wonderful! I’ve never been to a brand new Barnes & Noble store - this one certainly does not disappoint. It’s wide open, clean, fresh, inviting, and huge! The selection is endless.

It's pretty incredible that there is a NEW Barnes and Noble up the block from the location of the old store. Like everyone I now appreciate Barnes and Noble unapologetically as the last chain book store standing so it's heartening to see this brand new shop. It's a one story affair, seeks pretty clearly modeled over similar stores in London in terms of the design influence. But hey, a new Barnes and Noble is great.

I love this Barnes & Noble. It’s a little on the smaller side but it’s a nice quiet place to read. It has more of a library vibe then a bookstore to me. They also seem to take a more active role in highlighting queer stories and authors than other Barnes & Nobles I’ve been to.

It was really nice and had a very comforting atmosphere. Contained a large variety of books. Such as, Novel's, sports, travel, and especially cooking books as well.

Went with my daughter and her husband as they found our grand daughter a birthday gift. It was nice being in a bookstore again since most don't exist anymore!

This barns gives you the most comfy vibes ever. The shelves are really nice and the carpet makes you feel warm inside. It has large windows so there is a lot of light that comes in. I had some hard time finding some books so I had to ask staff. (idk why they put YA books further away from everything by the kids section). There is Starbucks a block away. I wish this barns had more quiet sitting area and MORE classical books. Only 2 leo tolstoy books? :/

I really like this Barnes and Noble bookstore! Usually I go to the one in The Veranda, before I became aware of this store’s location, I detest the parking at The Veranda-once while I was waiting for a parking space there, another car stole my space! When I proceeded to tell that person that I was waiting for that space-the “lady” responded with a rude reply that can’t be repeated here! Plus, this location still sells cds and dvds! Which is another plus for them in my book-no pun intended! They also sell new vinyl lp’s,

Exhaled a deep sigh of relief - like everything in the cosmos clicked into place - on Nov 16th in noticing our beloved Barnes and Noble returned to downtown Walnut Creek. The old one was at the top of local residents favorite creature comforts providing endless hours of wellbeing. “There comes a time when all the cosmic tumblers have clicked into place - and the Universe opens itself up for a few seconds to show you what's possible.” You BUILT it and we will come out to shop at our preferred 5 Star brick and mortar bookstore. It seems like now there is HOPE again in the world. Welcome back from our hearts to yours!!!

Great to have B&N back downtown. Love the large manga section and spacious space.

Barnes and Noble is back in Walnut Creek. Nice to be able to walk around a bookstore in downtown again. Separate kids and other section down below.

Store was very clean and there layout was easy to follow. Also, staff were lovely and chatty! Will definitely go back
