I have been using Summerhays Music since my first clarinet 43 years ago. Anytime I need something from a music store, I go to Summerhays. We just upgraded a flute there. I had set up an appointment and told them my price range and brands we wanted to try. They had 8-10 flutes ready for our daughter to try. She tried them all and then they brought out a couple more. We weren’t rushed and could take our time to decide which one she liked best. Our daughter wanted to try the trumpet and trombone for fun and they let her try whatever she wanted. Checking out was a breeze with financing it. I have always had friendly, accommodating service there!! Jenifer was awesome as always!! I highly recommend!!

Absolutely loved buying a cello here. I did not skimp on my first one, so I appreciated the time and care taken to make sure I had handled and heard the instrument before making a decision. I was rather shocked by the 15% APR attached to the monthly payments (they offer 0% for minors purchasing instruments which I think is awesome), but I decided to buy it outright as that saved me about $1000 in the long run. The staff were very helpful and ensured I knew how to take care of the instrument, and even gave me a few free items to help me get started, as well as a sizable discount. I would definitely go back.

Amazing store! I came here to get a new trombone, and they offered me with a ton of options, and I decided on a Lead Yamaha Custom Z. The trombone was well taken care of, and so was I! They treated very well, and gave me a bottle of water while I tried out trombones. This store looks plain on the outside, but inside is a world of high quality instruments for players with a variety of experiences and styles. You can get any instrument you need here.

I needed to fix my flute by the end of the week and someone in the band repair department was able to replace two pads while I waited and fixed something I didn't even know was off. I am so grateful for their speedy service and will definitely be returning for regular maintenance.

Great place to buy instruments. We went in there to find a mouthpiece for my son’s old trumpet. We learned that he had outgrown the skill level the trumpet could provide. They showed us trumpets that would be good for a skill level and help his fine ones that were in our price range. They were kind, quick with service and were able to help us find some rebates for his trumpet. Thanks, Summerhays!

Called Summerhays to rent an instrument for my son. The process was very easy. I just filled out the paperwork online and they personally delivered it to us at our home. The customer service I’ve experienced over the phone the couple times I’ve interacted with them was great. Never have had a negative experience. I haven’t had to go into the store at all. Been going here for years for two kids (piano, violin, cello, and now viola). Top notch. Helpful. Never rushed or pressured. Employees who know their stuff. Super reasonable prices and payment plans. Mia spent alot of time kindly helping my daughter choose a viola and bow.

I brought in my 10 year old Bach trumpet to Summerhays. The valves were starting to stick and it was getting harder to play. Because of James Bauer personality and knowledge, I left my trumpet there to be fixed. James called me a week later and said it was ready. I am very impressed, it now is easier to play and the valves are easier to push than when my trumpet was new. Thank you James

Melody pulled out harps specifically according to my needs. She gave me great info about each harp, printed out spec sheets to help me make my choice, and gave me plenty of time to play each harp.

The staff were very helpful. They let me play test many different saxophones when I was searching for one to buy. They were also able to give good advice based on their knowledge of the instruments.

Gave us a great deal on an outstanding instrument! Accepted a trade in with ease. Definitely will go back with my other kid when the time comes!

The nicest staff around. Went multiple times for different reasons. Last time was to fix my son’s trumpet and they fixed it for free and very quickly!

A very pleasant sales girl replaced a string on my granddaughters violin far $7. She played all the strings to show they all sounded good. With some encouragement from me she then shyly played a most beautiful tune with all of her peers standing about. I believe it brightened up her day. I know it brightened mine.

I love Summerhays! With 4 kids in music, I need a place that knows and remembers me. We had had piano, trumpet, euphonium, viola and upright bass for the kids and violin accessories for me. The trade ins and trade ups have helped to have an economical experience coupled with expertise and wider selection. Bless the poor guy that had to show us upright bass’s and a variety of bows (son wanted German, not French!).

We can't speak about every aspect of the store, but as far as when we've needed emergency help with our violin, someone is always available to help! We're so thankful!

This is the first time I stepped foot to Summerhays, great location, the presence of store front is inviting; the facility is clean throughout and organize with displays of bass, cello, violin, viola, ukulele, guitar, clarinet, trumpet, etc on the sales floor.

Jerry is friendly-nice, prompted greeted me, showcase the instruments the store carries; he introduced me to Chris to further discuss the type of services Summerhays offers.

I also met Shylee on the sales floor, she's a nice-friendly team member; between Jerry and Shylee, we discussed my violin needs and went from there.

Walked around the store, the music books, cleaning items, guitar belts, instrument mini ornaments and children's harmonicas and other kiddie music items were readily displayed, it was easy to view items at eye-level, everything was easy to find.

Before I left the store, purchased a mini violin ornament, super cute and well made/high quality, I intend to hang this cutesy instrument ornament in my office (see pic image). The guitar straps were on sale at 25% off the day I was there, purchased the yellow leather strap, good workmanship and material. Picked up two (2) harmonicas for kids.

Customer service desk was helpful-professional, the two guys quickly rang me up, and one of the guys answered my questions; they were both cordial-pleasant behind the counter.

From the time I walked in through the time I exited the store, I knew this is the place to go and return again, if ever I need instrument(s), fixing-repairing, the experience was positive. Will return the following week to pick up the Yamaha violin.

Will return and would highly recommend this professional music store to family, friends and business associates. Summerhays music center is pleasant to work with.

I remember buying my first saxophone from Summerhays around 20 years ago. Fast forward two decades and I'm flying down from Alaska to buy two professional model horns. Communication beforehand with Chris was excellent. When I arrived to pick up my horns, Devon gave me all the time and attention I needed to check things out, shop for other accessories and answered any questions I had. There is nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Summerhays.

We just purchased a new flute at summerhays music. It was a great process. They let us try several different flutes and answered any questions we had thoroughly. My daughter loves her new flute that will hopefully last her a long time!

We had an instrument repair emergency today and the technician totally came through and performed a miracle for us. I know it’s not always possible but it meant the world to us that they were willing to give it a look real quick.

Bought a beautiful custom trombone at the Internal Trombone Festival in Utah through Summerhays Music. Sales people were extremely knowledgeable and helped us find the perfect horn for my son. They really listened to him and helped him find the best fit. This was a big purchase and we walked away feeling really happy about the whole experience.
