Loved this candle shop - very cool place for gifts and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Located in Woodstock, Ny, very hippylike - felt like I was stepping back in time.

We went for a candle making workshop and had such a blast. Grace and Bella were wonderful. Great place to go with kids. It’s family owned since 1969!

Candlestock is amazing! So many unique candles, including a cereal candle that looks and smells like cereal and milk bottle candles. Candle Mountain is amazing as well. A must visit.

The coolest place! Dogs are welcome inside, they have so many fun things to look at, and the drip statue is incredible.

Parking is tough when the town is busy, but it's worth it!

Very memorable and unique store. There's a giant candle tower in the center and plenty of interesting items as you walk through the store. Picked up some mini succulent candles.

Love this place! You can tell that a lot of care goes into stocking this place with some really cool candles. If you think they only have colorful hippie candles, you'd be wrong. They have a variety of candles from sticks to globes, to sticks and to flowers. Really a cool place that's a must visit when you're in Woodstock.

Such a cute store with beeswax and soy candles. Some of the coolest and most unique candles I’ve ever seen! They have lots of different scents of wax meltables which can be hard to find. The guy working at the front was so nice and helpful.

Always a fun place - unique candles and gifts

My sister and I made a day trip visit to Woodstock about a 15 yrs ago and I have to say that the Candle store was a highlight for me because I only burn natural beeswax candles and at the time they had boxes and boxes along the floor of all different sizes of beeswax candles. I loaded up with the large pillars! From the current photos looks like they may not have so many as they used to, so I hope they go back to that. The scent of healthy and natural beeswax candles was wonderful and the large drip candle display is fun! Was checking back to make sure it was still there to recommend to friends.

Best candle store, bar none. You will never find a bigger selection. The beeswax burns beautifully, the scented candles are intoxicating, the gift wrapping is stunning, and I especially loved talking to the clerk with the glasses. She was hilarious, really topped off my shopping experience.

If you're visiting Woodstock, this is an absolute MUST. I have been browsing this shop often since I was a little kid, and it never fails to deliver magic in abundance. The beeswax candles are so pure that the whole shop smells of honey!! And the staff giftwraps intricately with ribbons and dried flowers for free. You will never forget this shop.

As groovy candle stores go, this one takes the cake. Prepare to be whisked away into an enchanted mining-style enclave of colored wax, candles, and other cool gifts. As other reviewers note, many of the candles for sale here are unscented, and some are much better left as decorations. Their prices are good and there's plenty of selection for even the biggest connoisseurs.
